It was unexpected by him. He thought his brother would "win" somehow, by "going above the diagonal" as usual. But the princess totally got him this time.

Mohan knew the plan and the calculated risk the princesses was taking, that Prince Baka may NOT place the ring on his finger.
Knowing his completely twisted personality, she creating a trap baiting him by placing the ring on her own finger impersonating Magura independence revolutionary taking a calculated risk that he may not consider marrying her revolutionary persona.
Mohan didn't think his twisted brother was that twisted resulting to his surprised reaction when he swallowed the trap bait, hook and sinker.

Finally got the time to finish this series, and what can I say? Pure awesomeness! I loved the intro arc, Ranger's arc, standalones (Macbac, Mermaid and Baseball) and the final arc. Everything was done so that Prince Baka is tied to Earth, putting the princess' plan into action.

I was actually trolled and completely did not see the ending! Sooo gooddd. >_<

While that story only mentions streaming, this other story mentions "broadcast, home entertainment and streaming", so I would hope that by 'home entertainment' this means DVD and Blu-Ray releases are in the pipeline.
