Claymore Chapter 112

D.Gray-Man is out on MS and since it's Jump Square manga we should be expecting Claymore soon. I have to say though, they don't know what's good. It's preposterous that such lame shounen had the priority over Claymore.

just get my book and now i can see why dgm came out first. 112 involves pretty much dialog¡¡and they may spend extra time on those¡

since i am now on train so i can't upload any pic,but i would rather say this chapter is pretty good^ ^

dietrich asked ana to make it out herself why deneve team pick this route with awks on purpose.so they realize they were coming for help.

so they fight as a team together and get the awks down,you ll see how they cooperate.the last awk is part of yuma's showtime^^

after the battle,they find out the org is still making male warrier.deneve remind others what miria said when they first meet male claymore(manga vol 5).

I suppose I'm in the similar boat.
I'd add several more reasons:
- The posts to actual information content ratio has become too high for me. Back in the day, something cool was being discussed in every few posts. Now, there is a much higher percentage of just social discussion topics, as well as topics that have been done, re-done, and re-re-done to death.
- The recent rise in "claymore sucks" posts as well as neg repping, has also made reading the forum a lot less pleasant.
- Time. I have none. RL has a way of doing that. Reading and lurking is still fine usually (especially first week or 2 after a release), but engaging in multi-page wall-o-text posts is definitely out.

And if Claymore has dropped in popularity in JumpSQ - which I have not seen much evidence for - then I will point out that it has been through recent acquisitions rather than anything Claymore has done. In the last few months, JumpSQ has started publishing D-Grey-man, a new Prince of Tennis, and a new To-Love-Ru (which I wouldn't blame anyone for mistaking for soft-core porn - very ). What I can say personally, is that as soon as Claymore ends, so does my subscription to JumpSQ.

I enjoy reading D.Gray-man too. But it is simply for another kind of audience than claymore. The story as well as the artwork of claymore is IMO darker, more brutal and more sophisticated than D.Gray-man.
There are many kinds of shounen you can compare D.Gray-man with but there is only one shounen you can compare claymore with(Berserk).

i'm not surprised regarding them still making male warriors, what I am surprised about is that it claims Miria knew this yet failed to tell the rest of the group. Surely it would be atleast a semi important fact so they know what to expect later on.

Yeah, but how else would we know that Miria knew? It would seem that she told them. What I don't understand is that Miria didn't know this during their encounter with male AB (even though she knew their greatest secret) but after returning to the organization after this incident she knew. It depends on how it's presented in the chapter, Gene's summary is a bit unclear on that (thanks for the summary BTW).

maybe to do with the conversation with that male ab, the male ab at one stage pointed out one flaw with miria's theory (though this was never revealed what it meant) so that one flaw I guess must of been that the 6 arms male ab was not infact an original male warrior from Isley's days but a recent one.

wouldn't go as far to say its a plot hole but it may of been jumping the gun a bit on miria's behalf

It's true, she could have deduced the truth after what he said. Still, we know for sure she didn't know it until then and we've never heard her mention it later. And as you pointed out she told everyone about youma being Organization's work but didn't mention about male ABs (even though it would seem she told them about it off the record). What I find the most funny in all this is that these men were ABs and yet Anastasia and the others couldn't sense them until they were at point blank range. Seriously? And they were behaving very strangely. It looks to me like another disappointing chapter is on the way.

Strange, i would consider Berserk more Shounen than claymore.

berserk would be more for older audiences rather than teenagers due to the rape, constant boobs, women being impregnated with monsters which then burst out of their stomach etc in berserk.

I don't know. A character like dae for example or riful who was torturing claymores, Yomas eating the guts and the brain of humans or the whole inhumanity and cruelty the org shows for example with the abyssal feeders IMO tops everything shown in berserk.

What i don’t understand is why those men awake just like that. it makes no sense. They should be normal claymores and having a lower limit. For example women loses around 70%, so men would loose about 50% or 40%. Also, if I recall it right from gala and that mib talk they should be more strong then women. So, there is no way that isley and co have awaken this way. Obvious they could control the yoki power to some level and I bet they had a limit like I said before. Unless this ones are made specifically to attack towns and for hunting warriors out it does not make any sense.( so the stronger ones would make alive out of there)

Their are many people lately, yes, going around negrepping for no reason, but I don't see any random hate-posts like that.

The other two points are valid though; it seems everybody no longer has the free time on their hands like they used too, including myself; and I definitely second that we all too easily get off topic and talk about whatever to make the time go by faster (and I mean more then usual). In general, you're right in that, back in the day, their was a whole lot more to talk about. I guess back then, we didn't plow every single conceivable topic (for the most part) like we did now, leaving us little left to talk about that's new, making us rely purely on new chapters for new stuff to talk about, and since only so much can come out every month, we get off topic much easier and quicker, going back to the same tired old arguments and/or talking about whatever.

That's just a theory anyway.

Sounds like Yuma will be the star of this month; she really is making a comeback lately
