He's more than competent. He's the only one capable of fighting Lunatic hand to hand. I think he broke his mask.

His fighting skills are legit. Tiger only turns it up when thing get "real." He's a superhero because he likes saving people, not because of the fame and stuff.

That really depends on what you call "competent". Tiger is good at saving people and at fighting baddies.

He's not good at earning points, avoiding property damage, or attracting fans - which is kind of a problem, because heroing takes money (he's got bills to pay, and then there's that armor of his, which I'm sure didn't come cheap).

Hahaha, looks like being a public hero finally came back to haunt them when dealing with legitimate villains.

Random cameo we're thinking right now, didn't see her in the this episode but I didn't start looking for her until half-way through the episode.

Spoiler for episode 10:

Also, if there was any doubt that this is supposed to take place in a fictionalized NYC I think disproves it within a shadow of a doubt
Spoiler for look at the flag:

And yes Tiger, your engrish was really bad at the end there.

TAKOYAKI, could you explain the meaning of your post? I think you're trying to point something out but I'm not getting it

Asfor Easter Egg girl, she is in Episode 11. Check out the five minute mark to find her

I'm pretty sure the image was supposed to show that Sunrise has been cutting corners.

Interesting. According to Jake after Mr. Legend died Next started helping humans as heroes.

Now this doesn't mean Jake killed him. Mr. Legend was already old when he met Kotetsu.

Though I have a feeling Mr. Legend isn't dead yet. He may come out to help the younger generation.

Jake definitely had inspiration for his character from the Joker. And I'm afraid...
Spoiler for That...:

Spoiler for answer:

Hadn't really wondered about it before, but isn't Bunny a bit old to be a "super rookie"? He's 24, while Blue Rose or Dragon Kid are teenagers.

Tell that to Sweat Woman at hero academy. Next age manifestation vary.

edit: Also holy frigging crap Keiji Fujiwara is going to be doing Jake Martinez. Anyone remember the last Sunrise series villain Fujiwara voiced? I'll give ya'll a hint.

"I'm a terrible man who leads his life following the most primitive human impulses."
Where was it mentioned? Episode 14's title is "love is blind", talk about catering to fangirls. rofl

!
Ehh? They didn't just randomly ditch him. A crisis happens elsewhere so the Heroes need to split up to handle it, and Anges is co-ordinating where the Heroes go to handle things. I think it's very telling that despite all the grief she gives Wild Tiger, when the chips are down he's the one she thinks can handle a crisis solo.

Also, Blue Rose objected to leaving Wild Tiger alone, but Wild Tiger told her not to worry, that he could handle it, and she should get going.

So I don't see how that can be described as "ditching" him.

I missed some lines of dialogue the first time around that I caught on rewatch.
