^ What exactly was the error?

I have that problem too not so long ago, untill I reinstall CCCP. Still, it something I rarely do nowadays, so you'll have to wait for others to help you.

avi should be fine.. its the mkv/mp4 that wont be accepted by VDub.

Well it says: Couldn't locate decompresser for format 'XVID'
Virtualdub requires a Video for Windows (VFW) compatible codec to decompress the video. DirectShow codecs such as windows media player, are not suitable.

Well thank you anyways KiNA

Edit: Never mind I figured it out.

That happened to me before. I went to download and install the XVID codec and it was solved.
Apparently being able to play the video in your media player doesn't mean you have the codec installed. D:

Hi. As for deleting the background, I suggest you to try Pen Tool Tutorial by Dragonwingz and/or (Video) Pentool Rendering tutorial (with .psd) and/or (Video) How to extract a image both by Sephi

You can get some nice backgrounds, you must start out with brushes, so I suggest you Yuiichi's Brush Background Tutorial (Check out Brushes sites by Yuiichi) and/or Filters Tutorial by KiNA.

I think this is the first time I bold so much . Also have a nice trip throught the PhotoShop world

I need a little help with the right type of looping for my avatar. Everytime I try to loop it, it always turns out weird, like this:

I would like a continuous loop where there is no stopping, how do I do this?

^That depends on the video and where you cut off.

What you could do though is reverse some of the order of the frames then add them to the original clip.
I'll explain more clearly if it doesn't make sense.

I took a look at the gif, You have the same shot being repeated three times. Your first and second scene are the same. The last scene is also the same for the three run together. I dont know how smooth this is, but i took out the extra frames.

If i understand the effect your going for, you might want to try and take out a few frames where the hair falls back down, kinda makes it seem choppy. Heres my example.

I took two frames out of the back and one out the front.

Keep messing with the frames until it looks smooth. This takes practice and some gifs are much harder than others so dont be mad if one takes you three or four times to redo from scratch. Also want to add, these gifs are currently too big. There are some good optimization tutorials on the first post.

Either you make it yourself or download other's C4D, usually you can find them in a graphic forum; under the section Resource which also includes brushes and all sorts of things. People usually send them in render packs so it make it a lot more easier, but it just that you have to download; the more packs you download the more options for you tag I guess. Try PR, click on Abstract/Fractal Renders then there is a lot to choose from. I don't use other's C4D stock a lot but that is probably as far as I know.
