To Stark700 -_\\ Sunrise has 12(if I'm not mistaken) studios each with their own stile and genre preferences. Studio 8 was in charge of Mai Hime/Mai Otome, Sora wo Kakeru Shoujo, Accel World, Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon, Buddy Complex and Love Live. They have very good production values in general and mecha with female cast would be just their kind of thing.

It doesn't change the fact that SEED and SEED Destiny were extremely profitable.

Well, he's only the creative producer for this one as opposed to being the head director like with SEED and SEED Destiny, and unlike those his wife isn't doing the writing.

The designer for the costumes is kurogin, who is better known for designing the costumes and weapons for the manga Mahou Senki Lyrical Nanoha FORCE.

Also, getting out of the mech just to shoot at something WHILE your mech shoots with you deserves an awesome badge.

Let's see, it has dragons and robots. The main character is voiced by Nana. The OST is by Shikata. Nana will also be performing the OP. Rest of the cast has people like Kitamura, Yukarin and Miyano.

Yap, I'll be watching this one for sure. Just Nana would've been enough due to my huge bias, but the fact that Shikata also gets to score a full anime series is too good to pass up. Looking really forward to hearing what she makes.
