I think they lost everything with this. They are getting torn apart online right now for this. I was thinking they should do an ultimate battle city with all of the characters from every season to see who is the true King of Games.

Welp, time for a reboot of the entire series. ... But seriously, how about we get a brotherhood style reboot of the original series, I want to see all the old bullshit like summoning three Blue eyes in one turn without tributes in amazing quality.

My first impression is: I dislike this artstyle even more than Zexel's. It looks like a typical kid show on TV now. However, due to the change in studio and director, maybe the plot and characters will be better.

So...can the Ace Monster Upgrade into something with the traditional 2500 ATK/2100 DF?

Oh shit, I don't fucking like the new style of the cards. But is good that the utility of the Extra Deck has come back to the normal...seems.

The anime...well, is a kodomo now. It give me a bad feeling, maybe because it reminds me of Beyblade Burst...that was fucking shit.

Spoiler for Ep.1:

Art style aside, I like characters design and their personality.

Yuga is better than I expected. Somehow he doesn't seem to annoy me like Yuma at the beginning of Zexel.

Romin is an interesting one. Not too girly and not too tomboy. I like how anime make her totally have no knowledge about standard rules of Yugioh and doesn't understand the hype about drawing and summoning many cards.

As for the duel, it's.....ok. Look like we are back to Duel Monster era style of duel and but with quicker pace due to new rules that allow player to draw many cards and summon many monster at once. Not sure if they will add Special Summon (like Fusion,Xyz, etc.) later.
