How do most groups handle audio encoding?

Do you encode to AAC, AC3, FLAC, OGG? What Bitrate do you encode to for this format and so on?

I just want some varying opinions on this is all.

These days most people don't re-encode the audio at all since transport streams carry AAC audio natively.

^ This.

You sometimes see FLAC audio for lossless Blu-Ray sources, though.

MRTiger: on what kind of sources would your question be referring to?

As already mentioned transport streams you usually don't re-encode the audio.
BD's groups like coalgirls usually do FLAC, for DVD's i have seen ogg, ac3 (not re-encoded), aac, mp3 (old divx releases).

And we might soon start to see the Opus Codec being used...

Which is as far as I've heard not properly defined for Matroska yet, so fansubbers are advised to stay away from it for the time being.
