Re Pearl River: It's very obvious to ANYONE who's done the map that the pass north has to be held and won, as it's the shortest path between the two flags. Which is why I groan whenever a heavy still insists on taking the long way south, especially when it's serve the team more by being another body up north.

Well GL cuz I think I will have much time to get on at all the rest of the week and prolly for the rest of the month... so it will be very rare to see me on. Well yes old town isn't the best map for heavies, I mean look how slow you can traverse, the map is all mud there is no pavement or solid ground to help reach Max spd. 103 is a great tank despite it major obvious flaw... makes me think the US weren't thinking when they designed it..... or maybe the real version was more bouncier. Well GL getting the E5.

You can still lose if you north. Cuz if they got good players with a good Med or TD can just go back to the flag and pick off everyone. Like Q will always say it is always about luck or how lucky you feel or are... which can be rare.

there is 2 way to win the map.

1) go north and kill everyone
2) ambush them around the base

What about when ALL the heavies insist on taking the long way south and leave just me and 2 other low tier vehicles to try to defend that pass? I think that was the fastest game I have ever lost.

I've had games where my team lost the canyon battle but we still won the game. The lack of cover between the canyon exit and the nearest cover can easily be exploited.

Being the Leo, its not wise to be in the forefront in Pearl River. Therefore, I almost always exclusively conduct guerrilla warfare, shooting them from places where they cannot detect. I've been able to do this quite successfully, sometimes holding off 4 to half-dozen tanks while buying enough time for my team to penetrate enemy defenses.

Of course, bad things tend to happen to me once the enemy start charging en masse, realizing I was the only tank on the hill...

Well, most of the TDs on the game never were TDs per si instead assault guns made to destroy bunkers and fortifications in real life (Like the T28/95).

And let's face it, If WG decided to put it as an arty then it will be nerfed to hell and back... twice

Its funny how WG had taken many liberties when manipulating weapon/equipment configurations and claims to be for the sake of balance.

Even if their track record indicate otherwise, or when they don't even bother attempt with the actual balancing of the game.

That screenshot was new but I am an old player.

Anyways decided to play W.O.T again but this time I joined the US server since everyone I know on the EU server stop playing. Also I can only play after Midnight (GMT) so the amount of players suddenly takes a dip.

As for joining M.U.P, that was a joke. Best not to invite me since I don't know how long will I continue playing before I decide to drop the game again.
But feel free to invite me to platoon or something. Once I get to Tier 5 that is.

yeah we're only hard*** when it comes to ppl that aren't on AS, heh well, we do have plain @$$es in general in MUP, so ppl will eventually get punked around at some pt in time, but everyone is nice, non-hardcore players, as for me i think ur all bastards for not want to platoon, no offense, i need high tier platoons, but everyone is at tier 5 thru tier 8, when i play tier 9 and 10, and wil is unreliable when it comes to plats, cuz he's afking at least 50% of the time.

now that that is off my back, i will prolly see if i can try to get on sometime..... heh i might even dual log and go in the training room and shoot at my tier 9s and 10s on my alt account where i'm doin the project of gettin the chinese med tank.
