And speaking of creepy, scheming faces, I've been talking with a friend about who the "special" titans may be, and we've come to agree on all three that we've seen so far: female, armored, and now we think we've figured out the colossal titan as well. There's less obvious evidence to back it up, but I think we're probably right. Thoughts in spoilers:

We think the colossal titan is Pixis.
For one, he's bald and mustachioed and somewhat resembles Big Red, though not as obviously as Annie does the female titan. Like, Eren's titan has hair. Annie's(?) titan has hair. Reiner's(?) titan has hair. Colossal titan doesn't. Why? Because his human doesn't have hair! Who doesn't have hair? Pixis.
For three, he stopped them from executing Eren. Clearly, like Annie and Reiner, he wants Eren alive for whatever their scheme is.
For four, he was in a good position to make sure that the "have Eren plug the hole" scheme worked, which I'm guessing was something the titan morphers orchestrated for one reason or other. I need to go back and watch all that business again, because my memory kind of sucks.
For five, did I mention he's bald? If Annie actually is the female titan, and Reiner actually is the armored titan, then I think it's safe to assume that the titans will always resemble their human forms -- hair included. Pixis is pretty much the only bald dude we know, other than uhh...that other guy whose name I don't remember, from the first or second episode.
EDIT: Oops! Maybe not! Looking back, when the colossal titan showed up early on, Pixis was playing chess. So maybe it's that other bald dude? What was his name? Shardis? http://myanimelist.net/character/84305/Keith_Shardis

All the unique titans (female, colossal, armored, etc) are pretty much guaranteed to be human characters in titan form. Armin explains plenty of reasons why that's obvious for this female one, plus there's just common sense: unique enemies are always important in anime, and if you didn't expect Big Red and friends to be transformed humans from the moment we saw Eren transformed for the first time, I don't know what to say.
This is the first "female" titan we've seen, and she looks just like Annie. Like, for real, just like her. You know it's got to be her. Armin knows, too. When Jean was about to get owned, Armin started shouting about vengeance and stuff. Jean thought it seemed really weird and random -- "Now's not the time!" -- but Armin's smart. The first thing he shouted was "JEAN!!" to let Annie know it was Jean and make her hesitate. It worked. It's her.
Anyway, Annie is obvious, but I don't buy the idea that Reiner's smoking arm was due to Annie's titan blood. Sure, it's a reasonable explanation, but it seems like too obvious a bit of foreshadowing to be coincidental. It could be a red herring, but I doubt that. Plus, I just don't trust Reiner. Did you notice how Reiner thought Eren was supposed to be in the right flank, but he was mistaken? And did you also notice how the female titan came from the right flank, where Reiner thought Eren was? It could be a coincidence, since everybody seemed to have conflicting information as to where Eren was supposed to be (possibly because somebody high up is suspicious of his underlings and doesn't want them to know where Eren is), but go watch the scene where Reiner hookshots onto Annie's neck again. I've watched it, like, four times in a row now, lol. It does a little slow-mo deal as he flies up by her ear, and she shoots him this super suspicious grin, holds him up real close for a second, he winks and tilts his head in one direction, then she crushes him. Like, hardcore crushes. ...But then he's fine. Fine, because he's a titan, and he has superhuman regeneration abilities. I mean, look at him afterwards! He's f***ing pristine! It's all a ruse. My analysis of what we saw is that Reiner was signaling to Annie the direction that Armin figured out Eren would be in -- toward the center. Which is, of course, where she ran off to right afterwards. Annie and Reiner are both Teen Titans, and they're in cahoots, searching for Eren in order to carry out some kind of secret plan. Annie's the female titan, and Reiner, based on appearances, is probably the armored titan. They have a similar skull shape, and similar hair.
I was convinced people were over-thinking Reiner's eye but after reading your theory, I am not so sure.
Reiner being a mole theory does make some sense and would tie in with the hidden plan Erwin refused to disclose, which, right now, looks like to smoke out the mole.
I edited my last post, because my friend went back and watched one of the early episodes and found a contradiction to our previous theory. We thought the colossal titan might be Pixis, but now we think it probably can't be him, even though he definitely looks totally sketchy lol.
Also, I don't know if I or anyone else mentioned this yet, but when Armin was giving his seemingly spontaneous speech to stop the female titan from killing Jean, he also said something about having seen that female titan stomp on his best friend, or something like that, didn't he? I don't feel like going back to watch it yet again, but the implication there is that he was trying to trick the titan into thinking she'd already killed Eren, which could also be responsible for her hesitation. All signs point to the titan morphers wanting to keep Eren alive for their plans -- especially considering they totally could have just killed him in his sleep if they wanted him dead, lol.
Assuming what Armin is saying so far, if the Armored, Colossal and Female Titans are human transformed into Titans, then that means Eren is a superior Titan than the Colossal, Armored and Female ones. If you are one to ask yourself why I ignored or didn't count the intelligence factor, it is simply because the lack of intelligence in Eren's Titan is Eren's lack of control over his Titan transformation.

Jean certainly was :P Most of us, I think, agree that Arvin was trying to A.) trick the titan into believing she'd accidentally killed Eren without realizing it, as well as B.) bring Jean's identity to the attention of the titan.
I hope some of you aren't playing, "I speculate. I swear I'm not a manga reader" game. Shame on you if you are. Anyway, will make a judgment call once I've watched the episode. Other mods, feel free to jump in if you believe that's the case.

That doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me, though. I mean, all the generic fodder titans have normal-looking skin, right? But the female titan has a lot of exposed muscle and tendon and stuff, and the colossal titan seems even moreso. It actually seems like kind of the opposite, unless I'm misunderstanding.

There are a lot of theories thrown in right now but Reiner being a Titan is probably the most probable because there was not a single scratch on him after his fight with the Titan. I don't think the animators will have made it like that without purpose. Throughout the anime, they really seem to highlight how overwhelming strong the titans are. If Reiner really was a regular human, he would probably be shown to be at least injured.
lol, I went back a page and searched for my name, and it looks like my first big post in which I detailed my ideas was deleted. As someone who doesn't read the manga, I feel like deleting speculative posts that aren't blatant manga spoilers just confirms their accuracy, thereby spoiling forum members who would otherwise have treated them merely as speculation. So, I mean, whoever's deleting posts here is being counterproductive.
EDIT: On the other hand, though, although most of the big clues on which we've been basing our hypotheses came from this episode, I will concede that the conversation had drifted a bit off topic. It would indeed be better suited for the dedicated speculation thread.

Besides, if she is looking for Eren, it would have to be someone who knows him personally. There are other reasons why it's so obvious.
