They discuss how strong Jura is and that he is #5 of the 10 Wizard Saints. They also mention how monstrous the top 4 Wizard Saints are. However, left out of this conversation is Gildarts. I don't think anybody really knows how powerful Gildarts really is. He might not compare to Acnologia, but that might be the only thing that we know of that is stronger than Gildarts. I really do wish Gildarts was more a part of the storyline.

The new version of Gajeel was a true monster.
So much raw power, unbelievable.
Well, at least it totally payed off.
Hope we'll see him use this kind of power again.
There sure was a lot of action on all fronts this time.
Laxus has a challenge in front of him.
Can't wait to see him fight!
Great episode.

Meanwhile A-1 gave a small hint as to who the shadow was. It was actually pretty clever and easy to miss.

Which hint are we talking about? Is it the "current Rogue's body" line right before the shadow left his body? Well, that line was in the manga, so why wouldn't A-1 include it?

Will say I'm looking forward to when they actually give some real focus to the Erza and Laxus fights. Be nice if they just tackle one at a time and not just jump between them constantly. Looking forward to see how both do. Especially Laxus since he really is up against a monster here and as really the strongest member out there he's got to hold the line.

Kind of surprising that with the Executioner fight getting dragged out that they wrapped things up four the tournament in this episode. Thought they could drag out any of those fights for a while longer. Gray and Juvia really wasn't shown that much and neither was Laxus vs Jura. Could understand Erza not fighting for so long since she was pretty beaten up. Still I enjoyed the fights overall. Laxus really pushing himself to the limit to fight against someone like Jura and Erza getting fired up to give all the payback that was deserved.

The end of the fight had some solid atmosphere to it. Was actually surprised that Lector was alive. I kind of figured it was pure bs from Minerva that she only used to manipulate Sting for this last stretch of the tournament. Actually did save him from the blast.

New OP was pretty fun. I actually liked the last one as well, but this was also good. Had some nice little moments that stood out in it. Certainly the Yukino/Lucy scene stood out, the battle Natsu was fighting, etc. New ED was fine.

Laxus was pretty impressive.
It's been a while since I've seen him fight.
After all the fire & ice, lightning nice for a change.
Some in the streets, others in the castle, each with their own problems.
Juvia & Gray working as a team, awesome!!
Erza finally put an end to Sabertooth's girl.
Damn, it's finally over!!
A well deserved victory for Fairy Tail.
And a sweet sweet reunion with Lector ^^
Perfect!

Certainly not surprising how Erza won that fight. Already showed the ability to cut through that kind of thing when she cut through that death airspace way back in the Phantom arc. Also saw the ability to cut through space in that fight in the Tower of Heaven. New armor just gave her some extra punch needed to take on that level of magic. Still have to say Erza's win was probably the most fun thanks to the music they attached to it and the build up she got.

Yeah. I was never too keen on the anti-climax that ends the tournament (There's another on that ends the arc unfortunately, but its nowhere as bad). Although, I felt more indifferent about it, rather then hating it. I was hoping A-1 would do what they did with the Garou Knights battle, but no dice it seems.

Also, they finally fixed the translation error.
