Well, if Nobuna maintained her position just outside of that "trap" - she'd be able to move her position very easily. She commands Cavalry, which is only effective with mobility. Yoshitatsu had the right idea: lure Nobuna's forces into a bottleneck in which there is little room for escape by using Inaba's and Ujiie's forces as bait. Then, while Nobuna's forces are engaged, attack from the back in a hammer-and-anvil maneuver. It'll be quite ironic the decoy army fell for a decoy.

It's surprising Yoshitatsu did not follow through on his plan. No reason was really given why he did not do so. He could have finished off Nobuna and ended the anime.

Really don't think so, I think Yoshitatsu decided not to because he was planning to sacrifice two General who often compare him to his father. He was pretty confident the fire will do the job which in most cases would, as pointed out by the two Generals no one thought of using explosives to fight fire and escape. Yoshitatsu probably had that same mindset where he created a surround trap that will not allow any escape. Though proven wrong, a General got to be innovative and also Yoshitatsu was pretty arrogant which was the cause of his downfall for underestimating your opponents. The same can be said for Imagawa Yoshimoto.

My ranking of the lolis is actually Hanbei > Goemon and Inuchiyo
However the other two are not that far behind. In some ways, I pretty much like all the lolis since they're just sooo cute!!!

Katsue's armor is just so... amazing? Lol!

Looks like shock absorbing material existed some 450 years ago, they were more advanced than we thought

I guess we are all too used in seeing bouncing breasts, it's the same in the op.

Goemon is wearing what looks like scale mail, but it doesn't appear to be very thick. In real life it would have pierced through, not to mention the armour's shrapnel.

Katsuie's boobs are so big her armor probably triggers the same kind of law that makes a pencil look elastic when you held them in the middle and slowly move them up and down.

You know it is funny, other shows this Summer have a lot more fan service while Oda Nobuna no Yabou got subtle ones. Though those subtle ones have gotten a lot more attention.
