No, he can't "win" at anything against anyone. Problem is his definition of "winning" is completely twisted. Basically he gives himself odd and technically impossible winning conditions to win. He can't actually be defeated in battle. In short, he can't grasp victory. If he reaches the gold, he trips before crossing it. If he wins the lottery, he loses the ticket. He can only get to 99%. He is actually the 3rd strongest character in the universe.

BTW did they ask Katou Tatsuya to write the most flat soundtrack of all? The last theme was really like some RPGish Final Boss one.

For me it's the opposite : Tatsuya Katou is suitable for this show and its mood it provides, although not being the most fitting composer of what I expected for this anime.

I really like his style and have found his OSTs from Mirai Nikki and Horizon great. But here all his songs sound really generic which makes me sad

Hnn, I rather liked the ep, cheesey music n all. XD Was expecting that girl to have an aura flaring around her when she transformed. Pretty sweet though, for me at least - I love it when it's time to rampage.

so its confirmed that Medaka is a direct decendant of Go Nagai's version of super saiyan Chuck Norris..... & for the second time as you all already seen what nasty shit Unzen did to this world, he should wear a freaking bra & a skirt to make everyone happy....

on another note, i think Kamina forgets about his role of his previous incarnation, it now must be suck to be in his place.....

Did not expect Medaka to be like Goku and beat the lights of Unzen. Kudos!

Unzen vs Medaka.
Super ball as a weapon. Pretty cool.
That kid sure has a unique view of things.
Seems like he went over the top with destroying student council room.
Medaka was amazing. Pulling off that save was magnificent.
Never thought I'd see her truly angry. She looked pretty wild.

Unzen's viewpoint isn't really that unique. It's sort of a Hobbesian view that people need protection from themselves through government, or in Unzen's case the school rules. It's kinda the entire basis of modern democracy.

Well, most of us don't say we hate love and friendship, but those are his own personal opinions, which he tries not to let get in the way of an impartial and merciless justice.

546 Blu-ray copies preordered by this moment. Looks like we can say "goodbye" to the second season.

Well, I'd better watch the remake of this anime by another studio than another season by Gainax.

They were crazy to even think they could afford to release the first season in 6 volumes per 2 eps format. They must've though they would've gotten through the weakest part of the manga with near zero effort and Nisio's name alone. Heh. The more common 3-4 eps for shounen series would've been less painful for both them and those who decided to even buy it in the first place. Better yet, a BOX release for Medaka BOX.
