Advertising for the sixth volume of Shunsuke Sarai's Inu to Hasami wa Tsukaiyou comedy light novel series has revealed this month that an anime adaptation has been green-lit.

The story reminds me a bit of Mysterious Girlfriend X except without drooling. I could see why Silver Link will animate it under the direction of Shin Oonuma. I liked his work on C3 so I could check it out.

The part where he becomes a dog is a bit off putting for me but other than that it looks interesting and im deffinately going to try it :P

I do wonder how he became a dog. I'm guessing Kirihime turned him into one.

Based on what I see on MangaUpdates, I know it isn't going to be one. Just because the story looks like it comes from a ecchi show doesn't necessarily make it one, so I hope it will be one of them.

From what I've seen of the manga so far, it is very, very non-ecchi.

I actually wish it would show more skinship.
