This probably has to be my favorite ep thus far. The twins are quickly surpassing Tamaki as my favorite character. They had me going and I was left rolling at the end when their true purpose was revealed.

I think the animation got even better. Along with a cameo by Renge and the introduction of Nekozawa-senpai, this episode features Hikaru vs. Kaoru, with lots of laughs in between. Personally I didn't like the episode quite as much as episode three, but the bar's already set really high (meaning that this was still a fantastic episode).

Fantastic and funny stuff. It's definitely one of the best episodes that I've seen in a while. Probably on the same level as Renge's story

Episode 5 was absolutely excellent.
The plot was played incredibly well throughout the episode.

Umehito was played really well, giving the frights to Tamaki, and adding some nice touches with the dolls. The fights were also really well played too, made me laugh a lot; Mitsukuni flying through them were of course the best parts of them. Although I am still quite sad that they took out those weird things they had in the episodes 1-3 (Lightbulbs, Tea Cup Rides, Kites).

All in all, probably my second favorite episode thus far (2nd episode being the best).

I thought I wasn't going to like this ep because Renge gets on my nerves in the manga but I ended up loving it anyway! My favorite part...

Oh my god, episode 4... I hurt from laughing so hard. Best episode yet!
I was worried Renge would be the "annoying girl" character (every show seems to have one), but I thought she was hilarious and awesome. Crazy otaku lady!

Tamaki's reactions are the funniest things ever. The part where he got showered by arrows... I really thought my lungs were going to burst from laughing so hard.

This show is the best! Ever!

Episode 4.

OMG! Take that visual novels. Not only has it constantly backhanded shoujo anime, now it's offered one to dating sims... and I love it for it.

This show has an irreverent wit about it that just wins so hard. My only criticism is that it's starting to let itself fall into a bit of a rut as far as any relationship situation between Haruhi and Tamaki is concerned. The comedy is funny for now, but the fear is that eventually the constant backhands to shoujo and anime in general are going to get stale and repetitive. Fortunately this show has shown a tonne of wit, so that shouldn't happen for a while.... I hope.

Just becareful not to say that in Ouran High School Host Club manga forums. Some people are very angry about even those small changes esp those toward Haruhi/Tamaki. I am not against them of course. lol.

Anyway, I think Ouran High school is one of the few anime that is better than the manga thus far. It's absolutely great!

I was really unwilling to think this series could get any funnier but it did.

The way Renge viewed everyone as a character from a game or film was priceless. And they were forced to become basically walking cliches just to fit into her view of the world.

Ep 5 was nice in that it focused more on the twins, although Tamaki still butted his head in here and there. His interjections were almost genuinely disruptive but it's all made up by the "awwwwwwwww" ness of the last scene. So shweet.

But it wasn't as creatively directed as the previous ones though; some bits did feel a little sluggish. Ah heck it, Yuuji Ueda rocks my lack of socks.

They were walking cliches before she met them. She just rewrote them as different walking cliches

I take it this is a 13 episode series? I'm wishing we get at least five seasons. ^__^
