hey hey i just read v1-8 of black cat and thought of it as a kick ass manga can some one tell me where i can get the latest versions or someone who can tell me a place to dl cause CTG need 30-50 post to dl and i can't post not allowed >_>

You can always try their channel at mirc to get their releases, they also link you to another place to download their mangas. You know Black Cat kinda reminds me of Cowboy Bebop with a bit of Hunter X Hunter.

i'm looking for black cat manga scan.... i've got all the chapters of vol 1-3 but i can't find others.... does anyof you know?? I don't mind if it's japanese or english..

Maybe they are still working on the new volume? Does it air volumely or chapterly over Japan?

I say I guess because they are releasing it here right now.

I like Black Cat and have all the books, but other series I like more take priority.

If you want manga in Japanese you ought to buy it. For scans of unlicensed manga there is a sticky in the forum explaining how to find them.

Train Heartnet is one of the coolest characters I have seen!

AND HADES THE GUN DESERVES HIS OWN MANGA SERIES! He is like a character of his own!

The mixture of Train's past and great abilities and personality...

But yeah....if you haven't read this then you should do so RIGHT NOW.

There's already two old threads about this, but I want to give this topic a sort of "fresh start" so:

Take your typical Spike and Jet bounty hunter pair, add the professional thief/gambler (Faye). Subtract dog, replace child computer genius with child nanotech-enhanced secret weapons experiment, and you have something a lot like Cowboy Bebop to some extent.

There's even a former partner villain and his gang of superhuman subordinates, along with an organization like SEELE that controls the world basically.

You will now be thinking, with a story that's so inspired (or ripped-off of, depending on how you wanna look at it

) by previous works, why should you pay any attention to it?

Well, to put it very simply, it's fun. And gets even more, and more fun the more you read on. Soon, you will be addicted to this manga like a crackwhore on withdrawal.

Here's the gang (Don't mind the Akatsuki logo, I found it on their site):

Train (Spike Siegel clone ^_^) on the hood of the car, Sven (Jet clone) at the wheel, and Eve (nanotech girl) behind him.

If you have time, try it out. You have to go in a bit to where they introduce Eve to start reading the good parts, but it gets quickly better after that.

Also, here's a cute little scene from volume 2 as a sample. I think it's safe, given that it doesn't reveal anything I haven't already revealed in my OP:

And aye, Eve is teh cute.

So, where can you find this manga?

1. As apparent above, from Akatsuki Manga. They have up to volume 10 and half of 11 or so translated.

2. Chronos Time Guardians. They have up to chapter 101, somewhere in volume 11, translated. Volumes 6 to 11 are available via HTTP once you register free on their forums. Very convenient I say.

3. Toriyama World. Only up to volume 3 translated.

Google search for these and you should come up upon their sites very quickly. Give this manga a spin sometime.

It would've been easier to just post in the previous ones...but oh well.

This is definitely a good series. One of my very favourites. The only problem I have is ToriyamaWorld not doing this series compared to their other ones. I liked their translations but the other competition is just as good, and maybe even better.

Black Cat isn't bad. The nastiest part is that near-paedophilic relationship that Sven and Eve seem to have, with Train as the third wheel. Plus I hate how weak all the Time Guardians are turning out to be, it's really pathetic. Apart from that I seem to be enjoying it quite a bit.

I wouldn't really call it pedophilic just cause the two happen to be her guardians (either officially or unofficially). None of the two adults are making any kind of overt advances toward Eve or vice-versa.

Just my two cents and an advice: don't overreact.

I certainly take it seriously enough.

Btw, did I mention how much I dislike Eve? She's a completely unnecessary addition to the cast - does nothing for me, does nothing for most of the cast and as for what she does for Sven... well, enough about that.

I won't let her ruin my fun. Go, Train, go!!
