In one of the PV for DxD anime, it said that Koneko isnt even 140cm tall. Now that's tiny! No wonder other people are like 2 heads taller than her.
Now the training epsiode is next. I hope they add ecchi stuff to feed our eyes

Yes, Koneko has nicely sized proportions and definitely isn't flat, and not Loli either.
We could also see her without clothing in the way in the current episode

I doubt it, too much ecchi in a show reduces the amount of doujinshi drawn, since the artist feel already content with what they have already watched (e.g. Daimaou, Asobi, KoreZon, etc). That said there are exceptions (Queenn's Blade)

While we are on topic: Who else thinks that think poor Taketatsu Ayana (who voices Koneko-chan) will be forever trapped playing roles about cats (EG. Azunyan, Mio of MM, Nozomi of Mayoi Neko and of course Koneko-chan) for the rest of her career like poor Kugimiya Rie is trapped playing Tsunderes?

Spoiler for High School Dungeons and Dragons 09 - Up Between the Mountains:

Training episodes are best done as briefly as possible. We understand what they're for, and their established purpose can be easily accomplished in a montage. (See: Symphogear). Luckily, only half of this episode was training. Koneko's looks the most fun.

Normally, this is the part where I would say seeing our hero(ine) trying their hardest is fun to watch in a lovably dorky sort of way, but... Issei isn't really dorky. Take that however you want.

Turning perversion into power isn't all that uncommon in anime (Taro Sado's Super Saiyan Kamen Rider belt comes to mind), but Issei is the first person I've seen peel something through the sheer power of thinking of boobs. Being able to obliterate a mountainside with the power of the Hand of Ankh is pretty cool, I'll admit. The sequence where Asia realized that all her holy gear just doesn't work anymore was funny, but also a little painful. That's gotta be tough on her, somewhere inside.

And the eyecatches have gone to full nudity. It's an appreciable thing.

Man before long ago sexy underwear doesn't appeal to me in older 90's and early 20+ animes.

High School DxD changed that ever since that ED song....

I never understood this social stigma of a man being shorter than his partner. Hell, even women try to avoid it by adjusting their heel hight.

I understand the physical attraction of various parts of the humanoid anatomy. But this preference for matching height still eludes my understanding. He is shorter, and? That just seems so inconsequential. Do people marry according to height?
