Alright, I'm not sure the translation is accurate here and I'm not really an expert in the field of biomedical-engineering but this again sounds like pseudo-scientific nonsense.
These patches are supposed to contain "spiritual power" which they can infuse into the applied body parts where the spiritual power is transformed into proprioceptive substances that temporarily enhance the physical performance, at least that's my interpretation of waht's been said about it.

An animal can be sighted for centuries, and even sometimes being food for the locals since forever. But until one has being caught and analysed by a qualified zoologist, its "existence" cannot be confirmed. It's like how a mountain does not technically exist until it has being mapped.
