I read it, but I don't like it much. It tries too hard to shove Leslie down our throats. She's too cute and small and perfect and everyone loves her except the comically evil villains.

Yeah, Lady Baby was so bad I dropped it completely. I still read Monster Duchess spite my complaints. I like Leslie and I like the Salvatore family members, but the series itself is too faux-dramatic and "Oh look at this cute girl" for me. I am also creeped out by the obvious romantic future looming up between Leslie and Konrad or whatshisname.

For the record, I don't know if "I am a child" goes the pedo route or not. The vibe was enough to turn me off. In the same vein, I get skeeved out when I read those Chinese webnovels where the MC is like 12 and the ML is 25 and somehow madly in love with her.

At least this series makes magic is not being used too often. As a host of dark power, surely Leslie will be constantly targeted.

Indeed however few know she has magic. Rather has awakened magic as it seems it is fairly rare in this series. Its also nice that they don't use magic as a crutch in the story. "The world is dominated by magic yada yada yada" which makes this series different and kind of refreshing in that sense. The series deals with a lot of issues that most don't as well. Got to give props when props are due.
