I heard some really bad things about the show today on a forum elsewhere, but from what I've seen of the first two episodes (I wanted to finish it since it seems intriguing to me but not now), they were just average at best and the characters are likeable (particularly the MC), I'm not expecting anything special out of it but I'm going to see if it's as bad as people think (it can't be worse than Divine Gate).

Wow, this looks very different in tone. I never thought a relatively somber and serious series like Luck & Logic would turn out this colorful and upbeat of a sequel. It looks good, though.

I wouldn't be so sure of that. The game itself is already dead outside of Japan and there's even questions/concerns about how long it might continue over there. With that in mind, I can't imagine they'd put much effort or budget into this season compared to the season they tried to use to launch the game in the first place.

Luck and Logic was purely mediocre, in my opinion. Neither good nor bad, it just didn't rate much attention. I'm surprised to see them trying to do more with it.

I agree with you pretty much. It just didn't offer much anything special apart from likeable characters and some interesting concept. I'm going to watch this new series but not expecting much either.

Hmmm well started ok the MC seems to be unlucky and a little annoying but some how catching a fish just by falling into the water

BTW: the less of the crazy "I must examine it FOR SCIENCE even if it's likely to kill us all because I got it upset" girl we get, the happier I'll be. And were those two girls who followed the class-rep everywhere going bottomless? It sure looked like they were wearing shirts without skirts, unlike everyone else.

Really what is with these adorable creatures that are around age of 10s aside from that blue creature Belle.

Hmm....idk what to think of this yet. Honestly, I find Lion cute but also annoying with her personality. Not really invested into the story yet but I'll give a chance for it to develop.

Visually, I think this new series improved.

I don't mind the completely different atmosphere from the first season, since that wasn't exactly interesting, but it still fails to make people realize its trying to advertise a card game. Because there really isn't any card game-ish mentioning at all. Also, it was pretty all over the place. One moment, they meet the princess. Then she all of a sudden transforms and tries to grab the girls. And then the friend is about to leave. And then a bath scene. Hmm... Sure?
