Has anyone played Mei before? I'm kinda curious since I've heard good things about her.

She's a lot of fun, really good on attack and defence and she has great control of the fighting around her with her freezing ability.

Mei is generally a defender, most of her abilties revolves around delaying and blocking enemies. You can still use her for offense since she is naturally tanky and can sit around in control point much longer. Plus you can block off defending reinforcement with her ice wall while her ultimate can force defenders to vacate the control mode or be freezed.

The biggest weakness for Mei is open space. Her alt is tricky to use due to the slower speed of the icicles and most of her abilities works best in confine spaces. Also her slow speed makes it easy to simply run away and reset the fight though forcing people away from key areas is part of the job for her.

Don't forget she's close-range. She's super effective in close spaces but in the open, you can simply stand outside her ice-beam's range and kill her with a medium-ranged DPS hero. Soldier-76 and Genji in particular are effective against her. Genji due to his mobility, and Soldier-76 because he can self-heal and he's most effective at medium range where Mei has trouble hitting if she isn't spot-on with her icicle projectiles (which are hard to aim at a juking target).

Mei is life.

Probably one of my favorite hero's. Great at area denial and a real pain to deal with on payload maps. Her secondary icicle attack is pretty powerful and accurate, and I've dealt with plenty of people coasting at range. Her only downside for me personally is that she isn't the move nimble at getting around the map. However thats offset by how adorable she is.

Overall had a blast over the open Beta weekend, I'll hold my hands up and say I was very skeptical of how good Overwatch would be before playing it. However I can now safety say I'm one of the converted.

Interestingly, it appears Symmetra is Autistic(OCD, doesn't like crowds, unable to empathize with others.)

She came across as a bit of a fanatic to me, and definitely obsessive.

At the very least she was more humane than the people she was working for. While obviously crossing lines in her own way to try and find information, she wasn't willing to take lives or create havoc to do what she believed was the right thing. Unfortunately when she couldn't find any information....her superiors must have decided "screw it" and just blew the darn thing up.

Certainly interesting that Symmetra has those kinds of traits to her. With the OCD and being unable to understand the people not supporting what her company was trying to impose. She's not as bad as the people who would order such an extreme action that lead to that kid being burned, but she's still on their side overall.

Pretty clear on the tragedy at the end there. A little kid who was friendly and willing to help a stranger out of her element, is now burned and much less friendly as a result.

And according to their respective backstories, Symmetra and Lucio's interests are in direct conflict.
