I'm worried about Io. Hope she'll survive the next episode

I was going to say something to deny it but then I remembered I'm a full supporter of killing everyone possible from the factions opposite of the one I'll be taking. (And taking Yamato's route for the first playthroughs just to avoid fighting him) *fake tears of shame*

Aww, this was cute. Cheesy and clichéd but cute. And Io lives, yay! (for now.) People may hate on her all they want, I like her character type, especially that she's cute, so I'm glad she didn't die. (for now.)
And Daichi did something, even if it was completely ineffective. I watch every episode waiting for Daichi to just power up already, but no... at this rate he never will. There should be a limit of how many "my demons suck" and "you're no help" and "you can't do anything" a character can take before he snaps and powers up... Also, at this point they could've just ended the episode with "Girls, we had some het in this episode, but don't forget to draw Yamato x Hibiki doujinshi!" |

The episode climax sure resembles Evangelion 2.0 at least on a visual level lol. Not complaining since it was indeed quite an epic ending. I'm just not so sure that Io and Hibiki's relationship carries the weight the scene portrays.

Dang, Nitta had her body forcibly hijacked by a demon, her mind was asploded, and she could have died a horrible death from about a hundred or so feet in the air.
Heck yeah, nice save, Hibiki! This is making me want to pick up the game.

So much focus on Io's life, so little focus on the lives of random JP's summoners that Lugh!Io killed. Daichi to Yamato: "Why are you deciding who lives and who doesn't?" Me: "Aren't you doing the same thing by saying that a lot of other people should die instead of Io?" Good job Daichi for delaying Yamato going out to meet Lugh. Those poor summoners didn't have to die.
I really want to love this episode, but it ends up too hypocritical, it gives me stomachache. At least the ending song was awesome. Last edited by p-kun; 2013-06-06 at 19:52. |

Yamato: You may have my boy for now but I'm gonna kill you for him next episode!!! I really liked this episode though. Like someone said, it's so cliched, but I also really, really like the whole "it's okay to be weak, get help from others" message whenever I see it in anime. Then again, I think the only other anime that used it in a way that really stuck for me was FMA. I think this anime is seriously succeeding in (what I think) its intent was: get people to want to play the game. I'm gonna finish DS1 and get to this ASAP ... |
