Im no expert when it comes to drawing so i guess i cant say much, but It looks really good. I think the hand looks a bit strange, but other than that, great work Haku-chan

There is somthing about the hand thats different but I don't know what

It's very nice, a couple of things though... Hand is a bit off.

I tried to illustrate the thing a bit and failed. But here it is anyway if it gives you some ideas.

Also left foot seems quite a bit larger than right.

Ah, thank you very much for that. I've now fixed the hand and made the foot bigger to match the other.

Kay, this time I did "soft-cell" type shading. Lemme just say...what a HUGE difference. xD
I still don't like it much, but I think it looks much better than it did originally.

Please tell me what you think. Dx

Edit: OMG for some reason I don't have a problem making .gifs anymore. It doesn't show up white YAY. Although, I wish I knew what the problem was. >.>

I've just started my Seinor year at high school on Thursday. And since I'll be attending school, I wont be around as often. Now, I'm not saying I'm leaving or anything like that, I'm just going to be gone during most of the day and I wont be having as much time on the computer as I'm used to. I'll be on as much as I can over the weekends, though...and that's about it.

p.s. I really do hate school. ;_;

Wow, very nice work. For some reason I preferred the pose on the sketch more than the colored version, even though I believe they're the same... I'm not sure why there should be a difference in my opinion. But, I did want to comment on your coloring. The original was good, but the "soft cell shading" as you called it looks very nice. It adds depth to the image that the original can't quite match. Very nice!

Working hard at school really pays off. Take it as coming from someone who didn't...
Having good grades to show smooths many things over.

Try to have fun, (in moderation though) the time will go much faster.

Hmm, I didn't see much of a difference from my colored version than my sketch. I tried to keep it as similar as I could. But thanks, I also agree that the soft cell shading looks better. ^^

you can use brushes to make some interesting background, or like i like to do, i would grab an interesting and fitting photo off the net and modify it so that it looks fitting with the character (but that won't work for a lot of the pics tho...)
