Well, it really is just a normal dating event organized by Iori and Yukina (Yui's friend, the blonde girl who was chatting to Yui when Taichi swapped into her body during episode 2.)

The three pairs are Taichi/Inaba, Aoki/Yui and Ishigawa/Nakayama (I don't know what to say about this pair... Ishigawa popped out of nowhere in YR while Nakayama is well... Nakayama, the cameo twin tail girl who hangs out with Iori in class.)

Anyway since this event is post-YR timeline,

Yui became a lot more tsundere towards Ahoki, being all shy and stuff lol.

While the Taichi/Inaba pair becomes sorta... well...

In Iori's words:

"You two are like long married couples now! You're too comfortable and natural towards each other, what happened to all the cutesy exchanges >_< You're supposed to be dating, c'mon Dere-ban come out come out! >_<"

Dere-ban did show up eventually (albeit just a little) but there's been less comedic remarks. However... that doesn't mean the pair isn't still drowning you in honey:

That's... actually a really good question. I just looked it up and the only info I get is that he/she is the author of Kokoro Connect as well as some basic background info, everything else like gender and blood type are listed as N/A...

Should be a guy...since most shounen light novel authors are guys(I did a small search and some of females authors are bungaku shoujo, toradora,gosick...)

Anyone of you read Short Stories: Boy Meets Girl in Three Minutes?
1 of the story is written by Sadanatsu Anda.

You could sort of tell the author's a guy in the way he writes

At least to me it is- The male perspective (or rather just Taichi's) is sharper and detailed.

Of course, lets not forget that even a series like Sekirei is written by a woman, so I guess anything is still possible

Some of the best stories are written by women, so in a sense it doesn't really surprise. Prolly the one instance that gave me a "Whaaaat? Really!?" reaction was finding out that Hiromu Arakawa was a woman. Ah, the mighty power of pen names

I've found out that the guy who wrote Eragon was 19 when his book was published (circa 2002). So yeah, I believe it :P

I thought this series was categorized as Seinen? Well personally it doesn't really matter whether the author is male or female; all I know is that they can write a good series and that's enough for me.

This time Iori and Aoki gets shrunk to 14-year-old and 11-year-old respectively. Inaba figure they should take a walk for some fresh air, but Yui and Little-Aoki decided to stay behind. Although concerned with Yui's situation, Inaba reluctantly complies. So we left with Taichi, Not-so-mini-Iori (14) and Inaba. Again, Dark Blue = Taichi's personal thoughts =============================== Iori (14): Unnnn~ It's so cold outside >_< Iori (14) hides her face under the scarf and rubs her hands. Taichi: Would you like to borrow my gloves? Iori (14) shakes her head. Iori (14): Ah, I'm fine, Taichi-san, thanks! Taichi: It's alright, take them. stuffs them to Iori Although we aren't sure how exactly does this "Time Reverse" phenomenon works between the "Past" Nagase and the actual Nagase, we better not let her catch a cold. Iori (14): Ah, thank you... Hehe, they're so warm~ Nagase (14) gives off a soft, sweet smile, just looking at her makes you feel happy. Inaba: Look at your face, all happy and satisfied... Inaba gives Taichi a cold stare. Iori (14): Well then, in order to thank you... Love you~ Oni-chan~! Iori (14) grabs on to Taichi's left hand. Taichi: O- Oni-chan? Wasn't Nagase (14) addressing me as "Taichi-san" before? Iori (14): Odd, I thought Taichi-san would have liked to be called "Oni-chan"? Taichi: I like it alright... but how did you know? Ah— Fetish exposed. Iori (14): Hm... you can call it a "Women's Instincts"? Iori (14) gives off a very sweet, charming smile. Since then, Taichi believes her to be a very caring, and very mood observant child towards people around her. Could this be the true prowess of her past adaptive self? If that's the case, she is certainly impressive, beyond imagination. Meanwhile, a strange, belligerent aura closes in towards Taichi's right side. Inaba: How long are you gonna keep holding hands and snickering hm? Oni~ Cha~ N~? Taichi: Owowowow-OW! Ear! My ear is gonna fall off! I'm sorry, forgive me, Inaba! Iori (14): Ah! Inaba-san is taking the other side? That's great, Taichi-san! Having two girls on both your sides. Inaba: Iori! If it wasn't for you being 14-year-old, I wouldn't have gone easy on you! Inaba is being very feisty. Taichi: Though I must say the rose on the right is thorni— OUCH! Inaba: Taichi quit saying things that are so sharp on spot.
