looking for somethign where i can laugh like i did while watching
things like minami-ke(the first season), seto no hanayome, full metal panic fumoffu, zero no tsukaima, and i can't think of anything else where i laughed really hard, i guess you could say i'm looking for something really stupid
I'm dieing for something as funny as these anything iv'e watched lately has just bored me to death and i havn't heard my self laugh since december i don't mind if it's manga or anime although i tend to prefer shojo manga, anime it doesn't matter Spoiler for for things i've seen:

If you don't mind your comedy to be, well, mindless, then Love Hina and Ah! My Goddess are pretty good fits. |

Ha, pwn'd. Well: You might like SHAFT's stuff, but there are a lot of people who don't: I found Pani Poni Dash and Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei both quite funny and entertaining. Hayate no Gotoku is good, but the manga is better. Unless you can get all of the anime references and otaku humour, it might not be as funny. Lucky Star (See Hayate.) Musashi Gundou is one of the funniest anime ever. You'll be laughing from start to maybe 5 minutes into the first episode, whereafter you will be unable to continue. Seconding Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei and Lucky Star
to that I'll add Gintama A little less like what you're used to seeing, but sometimes that's just what you need. Azumanga Daiou Shame on you for not having seen it yet. And maybe GTO if you get around to it. Not so much on the comedy, but maybe worth the watch. |

I second Ichigo Mashimaro and Azumanga Diaoh. Both had me in stiches. While others on the list have funny moments, the two listed above are the ones most likely to keep you chuckling the whole way through both episodes and the entire series.
And then you have something like Kanon, while not its primary focus, has me in stitches at the dry wit displayed in certain parts throughout the series. |

I'm with all who recommended Azumanga Daioh.
I'd also add Gakuen Utopia Manabi Straight! to the list. Edit: You're bored with Ghost in the Shell SAC?!?! Your abilities in boredom are greater than mine, Gunga-Din! |
