Love how he's always worried about what Miyuki will do and when need be he does indeed step up as Onii-chan.

And good to see him actually utterly owning the noob, I never see enough of that from a main lead, it usually only comes till much much later on and under much more typical circumstances.

I seriously hope this gets a long run, I def need more of this series!

Hattori is not a noob. He's the fifth strongest in the school IIRC.

I think that before the entry of the Shiba siblings it was Mari > Mayumi = Katsuto > Hattori.

I feel totally immature for thinking this, but IMHO this was one of the most satisfying conclusions to a manga chapter that I've ever read ^_^;

That was the perceived ranking in school, I'll try to dig out the reference from the novel later today.

Mari specialized in combat magic, so she was the pick for the disciplinary committee.

Actually, we don't really know who is the strongest between the three, we just know that they're top 3 strongest, that's all.

It was great

. I felt like my slight annoyance throughout the chapter had just been redeemed by the end. What a great chapter.

Also, Miyuki is as adorable as always.

The fight went from Hattori's monologue to instant kill within one page? This is a monthly manga, they could really put in a few more pages outlining the fight, this is pretty anti-climatic

The next chapter will probably discuss the fight, massive dialogue incoming... in a month.

I didn't feel it anti-climatic as you say. The impression is totally awesome if you think about it.

Yeah, final page says "Playback" literally, but I'd rather this won't result in a whole chap talking about the fight and nothing more than that

I'm kinda curious about whether they'll decide to keep what happened a secret both from the student council and the general public. I can easily see Tatsuya not explaining much to everyone, and then having an inner monologue about what actually happened. I'm just curious about whether they'll keep it a secret that Tatsuya beat Hattori and where the story will go from here.

I understand why you are dissatisfied with the fight. However, I think it's necessary to show how extremely capable Tatsuya is like. Nothing is much better than having a quick victory to show it. He proved that he can enforce the rules to those who break it, Bloom or not, a school star or a nameless grunt.

Now then, I'd like to believe that the author with show what really happened panel-by-panel in the next issue.

Just read chapter six. I must say, if these six chapters are also how things unfold in the novel (haven't read it) I imagine adapting it into an anime will be difficult because they would have to either sacrifice the bloated early exposition or keep them at the risk of boring the hell out of newcomers unfamiliar with the source material.

Just started this series today. God, Tatsuya is awesome. Not only is he cool as hell, but he's very conscious of Miyuki's feelings. He certainly deserves the harem he's acquiring =03.
