Incidentally, Moonphase mentioned that it'll be released on DVD as a 3-episode OVA. So, the online viewing is basically them splitting the OVA episodes into 4 parts each. It'll be interesting to see how people respond to the viewing format -- is it a sign of things to come?

The Cho! Animelo portal is getting heavy hits right now, so it's causing capacity problems. Can't even get the page to load past the page title. I'm not alone in this, it seems. MOON PHASE reports of loading problems as well.

I'm still surprised why didn't any group sub this series. I played the game demo and I was charmed by the main theme it had.

Although it might be too odd (flying whale and a girl who can suddenly float) but it might have a good plot behind it (might be repeatable but it won't be the problem if it was well made).

Well, I think the main issue is really the viewing format. It'll probably be a bit more appealing to subbers when the DVDs are out as three normal-length episodes (not to mention at non-web-streaming quality).

I'm with you, though, Rengemaru -- the game OP is absolutely beautiful. Musically, I'd say the only song from the OST that tops it is actually the ED theme. The whole soundtrack is actually pretty good, so it was neat to see them re-use it in the OVA. I'm looking forward to getting the PS2 game at the end of the month.

watching this show you can see that it's almost like playing a game with the scrolling up and down stuff and just how it is fillmed.

I have watched the 1st ep and it's 4m:25s. At 3m:20s starts the ending. So basically we have somewhat 3m of actual content.

Episode 10 was more " " than episode 9.

They should have just made an actual anime series, instead of little segments...

Finished that "progressive" OVA thing.
Still confusing, but at least I understood the story since it was 30 minutes long.

Got ef flashbacks...
Sae's situation reminds me of Chihiro's, with that memory problem and note book... Just that what was inside was a bit more... creepy.
The end was a bit... scary, with Mutsumi going a bit crazy.

The main confusing part is just what happened at the end, where she suddenly disappeared and Mutsumi found the cellphone without the whale plushie. The rest was pretty easy to understand though.

They should just make more OVAs of this, so people can actually understand the story with the whale and mysterious girl and everything that happens in the 5-6 minute clips instead of having to play the game...
