I agree and im not saying the new Misaki doesnt fit the anime adaptation i personal prefer the Misaki in the manga because of how crazy she is im sure it would hard to get all of her personality just right in the anime. What i dont like is how the anime has potrayed Misaki as so dependent on Satou, she literally needs him to define her existence it was not so in the manga

See, he's a hikkikomori. Sexual maturity, pheromonal attraction or just sexual attraction (to real life women, that is) is made infinitesimal because of this. All sensual sensations are blunted by this social (and psychological) disorder, I guess.

Episode 18 was a shocking episode, in the fact that 80% of it was complete new material (not using material from the manga). Though with everything that happened in this episode.. they pretty much already have destroyed most of the manga past episode volume 05 from happening. Of course now i'm starting to believe a new ending shall come from this.
Bringing Kobayashi's brother into it this early wasen't something i expected, though the minute Satou & grew turned up outside her house, i pretty much could see it coming. I'm sure with him now in the story, a Satou/Hikikomori ending can somehow happen.. depending how next episode goes. Also having Yamazaki make contact with Kobayashi is new - he never see's her in the manga. Overall this was a turning point episode, yet another great one. In more news about a new ending, episode 20 it titled 'Welcome to the Winter Day'. Who knows what could happen.. though its a new name, so i'm hoping for a Snowy one. <3

Holy shit man those are some pretty major changes looking forward to the next episode. The changes dont sound all that bad but now my heads thinking 24/7 about what kind of ending we can expect.

The limited edition for tankoubon Vol. 6 of NHK ni Youkoso! went on sale today.
Here is the cover. Although the above should belong to the NHK manga thread, this limited edition contains a CD-ROM of the galge Satou and Yamazaki are creating in the anime. Here is the cover of the galge in spoilers just to be safe: Spoiler for Cover of True World:
Here is the URL of the official site for Satou & Yamazaki's game: http://circus.nandemo.gr.jp/sakuhin/...nts/index.html Although I intend to buy this manga+game edition tomorrow, I can't even play it do to the outdated specs of my PC (not that my Mac is any better)...

By the time i sorted my money out, they sold out of copies on amazon.jp.. ;_;
Does anyone know where else i'd be able to order the special edition of volume 06? & Eggplant - i think you should also post this in the manga thread. Just so people know, the game is produced by CIRCUS (the guys behind the Da Capo series :3), authored by Tatsuhiko Takimoto, and character design by the all mighty Kendi Oiwa.

Ep 18
And we meet another messed up person: Pres' brother. I'm starting to get worried now... will Satou get a happy ending? It's very nice to know that the game Yamazaki and Satou worked on is actually made in reality!
