Well, just did some testing, and tried increasing the renpy demo ones a little bit, to 250x200, and I think it turned out pretty well. Image of it can be seen in the spoiler...
It's a fanwork aimed at fans, if you don't mind me reminding you. "Yare yare" works not only because it's an idiosyncratic saying by a person known for his/her deadpan delivery and snark, but because the fans almost half-expect it anyhow.
Changed.

And I guess there's no convincing you Kyon-nee-chan makes my ears bleed.
Le sigh.
Why is it "disrespectful", exactly? What does that mean to you?
And no, I don't think Mitsuuru would tell her right off the bat. Unlike Mikuru, he seems to have no problem lying unless things get drastic.

btw did you get the text autoadvance workin?
Haven't gotten autoadvance working just yet, still need to go and lookup some of the documentation on styles and such, since what I want to do is to create a custom style where I can just specify a tag for the auto pausing and things such as that.
Jesus, people already came out with an Doujin-Game? My God, this is a REVOLUTION.

Yuuki asked Kyonko to come out to his apartment in secret. Waited at a park bench for days and after apparent awkwardness and difficulty told Kyonko who he really was.
Most important point is, is that Yuuki told Kyonko in private and he went to certain lengths to make that conversation a private one. Even Kyonko realized that when she saw that he had been waiting at that park for days. To just suddenly and blurt it out to Mitsuru, well... even Kyonko must be feeling too confused about that whole incident to really want to just talk about it.
And I don't know how Mitsuru is more of a liar than Mikuru.
Part eight done, it was shorter than expected. Kyonko fell down, don't yell at me please :O
Spoiler for Remote Island Syndrome Part Eight:
Up again the stairs again. I didn’t really about anything as Haruki’s grip grew together every passing second. Is this natural? I’m not sure if I’m thinking this out of spite, or rather just because I’m curious. Yes, as we ran up the stairs, somehow I felt that I could trust this insensitive boy, though a part of me still tells me not to. Because this sense of humility he posses now, if only for now, tells me that he isn’t the one to throw away life like it was just another object. This sense of hope and reassurance lasted on for a few seconds, seeing as the flight of stairs wasn’t high at all. Arakawa-san stood between the door-less frames.
"I’ve called the police, they’ve said that the crime scene should be preserved. I’m sorry but you can’t go in."
She calmly said this with her head down. I could see a bit of Keiichi-san behind Arakawa-san. Was I that curious? Even though I knew the truth?
"When are the police coming?!"
Haruki demanded. Arakawa-san kept her head down while replying.
"Unfortunately they are unable to travel in such weather. They will however arrive when the storm has subsided, the weather reports say tomorrow afternoon. We’ll be waiting for them by then.”
"Really…"
Haruki said, in his voice still lingered some hesitation and denial. He too had tried to sneak a peek into the room, but to his dismay, his angling only gave him a view of Arakawa-san’s side. He stayed quiet for a moment before speaking again,
"Can I ask you guys a question?"
"Certainly, what is it?"
She asked
"Did Keiichi-san and Yutaka-san get along well with each other?"
Arakawa-san’s face seeming winced for a moment.
"To be completely honest, I’m incapable of answering this question. I only stared working for Keiichi-san for a week now.”
"A week!?" Both Haruki and I exclaimed.
Arakawa-san nodded.
"Yes, myself and Mori-san were hired as stand-ins as contractual servants. We were only to work here for two week of this summer."
"That means you’ve both only just knew Keiichi-san right?”
"Yes."
She said again. But as I though of it, wasn’t that a very elaborate course of an action on Keiichi-san’s part? Really she had always seemed casual in the use of her fortune, but to go off an hire a butler and maid for two weeks didn’t really make sense to me. Maybe I don’t understand how rich people think after all. I had nearly revealed all my thoughts, but fortunately neither of them seemed to have noticed. when I look at Arakawa-san I see a dependable woman, a distant aunt or grandmother who’ve always held you high. As for Mori-san, a well mannered man who doesn’t not look his age. Aren’t they what they are? They look exactly as they act, but inside me, I doubt this all. Have I already lost my mind? We both didn’t say anything as we walked down the stair way. Haruki did not drag me down, perhaps subconsciously asking me to say “We should still try to find clues.” or “We should stay and try to make more sense of it.” I’m sorry Haruki, I can’t meet those expectations, I’m not that kind of a person.
"I see, so there are permanent and contractual servants, I've really learnt something new today."
Does he say this so that it seemed that his rigorous flight upwards wasn’t in vain? His voice is soft again, like when we were back in his room. He stops suddenly.
"Kyon, we need to find more clues.”
He reached for my arm with his outstretched hand.
"But where will we go? The room would be the only place with any clues"
"Outside, I want to see if the boat's gone."
I really didn’t want to wander outside in such weather. I’m sure that it wouldn’t be safe at all. Why would you want to check if the boat’s outside anyways?
"I only believe what I see with my eyes. Information that gets passed around usually gets mixed up with unnecessary noise. Kyon, you can only trust what you see, first hand observations are the only ones you can trust.”
Through all the nonsense he had just sputtered, he was right in a way. But does that mean besides those that enter our field of vision, we can't believe anything else? It seems like what a skeptic would say when asked if somewhere else was someone who was exactly like you. As I questioned about the possibilities, Haruki and I had already went down to the main floor. Mori-san greeted us a smile.
"Are you both planning to go outside?"
Mori-san asked us. Haruki replied
"Yeah, I want to see if the boat's still here."
"I don't think it's here anymore."
"Why's that?"
Mori-san replied with a smile,
"I saw Yutaka-sama last night, she seemed to be in a hurry as she left the entrance hall."
I exchanged glances with Haruki.
"You mean Yutaka-san had stolen the boat and left the island?"
Mori-san smiled softly and slowly moved his lips,
"I only passed by her room last night, I didn’t see her leave, however that was the last time I saw her.."
"What time was it?" Haruki asked with more confidence now.
"I guess around one in the morning."
That was when we were getting drunk and sleeping very soundly.
Does that mean Keiichi-san fell on the floor during this time as well? How convenient it became now. It seemed that everything pointed towards Yutaka-san to be the culprit. Though I never really got to know her, she didn’t seem like a person to kill her sister. But I have no idea what relationship they had after all. Asking myself these questions another came up to my mind “Where’s Koizumi?”
Mori-san bowed and let us to our business, he told us that he would patrol the mansion for the rest of the night. He told us to not stay out too long and to be careful. As we pushed the doors, it was apparent that it would not open without requiring a lot of physical strength. The heavy winds and rain was determined to keep it shut. but by chance it opened, as the rain pelted our bodies; within a few seconds were already soaking wet. Our breaths condensed into vapour as we breathed outwards. Haruki told me to stay close. How romantic, but of course I doubt I would every be in the mood for such advances.
The dark grey clouds extended towards the horizon, this reminded me of the Sealed Dimension we were trapped in before. I don't think I'll ever like seeing such a monotonous world. I could barely hear Haruki’s voice, however we braved on.
The wind blown strongly. I imagined that no birds would be capable of traveling here without being blown away and cast into the sea helplessly. No matter how brave I got, I started to feel that things were getting bad. I think I would turn in my grave if it was only me that fell off, so I grabbed Haruhi's hand in return. I felt my chances of survival would be higher if I fell with him. But why did I go and jinx myself. I’m not sure what moved me, was it the wind or my weak footing on the wet ground. I could feel my weight tilt towards the edge and I spun downwards.
All I can see is darkness, before the cool embrace of unconsciousness gripped me. I don’t think I can blame this on you Haruki, after all I’m still alive aren’t I?

Just the way I've written him, really... >_>
And, again, you're the only one that really seemed to have a problem with that.
But, you are kinda right, so I guess I'll change it.
No, 250x200 is the avatar size, the actual size of the game itself is 1024x640, I can make it bigger or smaller, but I figured everyone probably is capable of 1024x768 by now, and 1024x640 is a 16:10 aspect ratio of 1024x768. . Yeah, and that image is just a placeholder, got it from the fanart pack, not sure who to acredit or anything, and would prefer to do custom stuff so that we don't have to worry about dealing with that sort of stuff. Also helps consistency to have everything by the same group of artists in the same project. So I would prefer custom fanart, and that image as far as how much is shown and such is how I envision kyon being shown most of the game, as most visual novels take place in first person. But this way it still gives us a chance to give her facial expressions and such.
Also, sorry for all the people who just lost the game because of this message.
Also2, irc.rizon.net #Kyonko is up if anyone feels like joining it. Yes yes, don't worry it'll be a CRACK only discussion in there, no "off the record project planning".
"Good grief" would've worked if it wasn't for Charles Schulz. All it'll get is comparisons to a certain blockhead, distracting the reader from the intended characterization.
