Astonishing. We eat these all the time. I guess it's one of those "pest out of habitat" things, like with the rabbits in Australia.

Personally, I like carob. It's this bitter healthfood chocolate substitute. Most of my friends gag when I give it to them and tell them it's chocolate. Quote:

I love eating bananas wrapped with a slice of American cheese. Believe it or not, I saw it on an old Mr. Rogers when I was a kid and... was so disgusted I just had to try it. Tastes really good, actually. Another awesome combo--cheese Ritz crackers dipped in chocolate pudding.

I eat lots of spicy foods and put habrinaro sause on just about everything I eat, but I don't really find that weird.
I think the weirdest thing I've ever eaten was buttered bacon fried in salty pork fat and brown sugar. Just an experiment to see what something REALLY unhealthy would taste like. It tasted delicious.... I highly reccomend it! |

I've had some strange foods off and on, and found that most of them I like.
My mother came from a Greek family and used to make Avgolemono, which is a Rice soup with chicken broth and lemon juice in it. Mom also thought that Pickle & Onion sandwiches were great, and I have to admit, they are good, in a bizarre way. Just don't plan on being sociable for a while after eating them. The strangest thing I've made (and still do, once in a while) is my German pizza, which consists of German sausage and Sauerkraut for it's toppings. Eric the Grey |
