Adolf is nice enough to cover them but for now they have to show that Adolf's sacrifice is not useless

Wearing a roach as a suit was pretty cool.
The roaches seem to be evolving like crazy.
Some backgrounds of specific characters were shown.
The fights were nice.
The overdose effects were pretty extreme..
Everything seems kinda futile.
They keep going, keep dying, keep failing...

Decent action from the latest episode tbh. However, Adolf becomes the meat shield of the crew and I feel bad for him taking attacks like that...

Well, there's a counterattack in the second half that takes action into the air but we'll probably see more of that next time. Wish they put more of that in the episode.

Damn, those roaches never cease to amaze me.
Their ability to learn and adapt practically instantly is epic.
They never seem to run out of ideas to keep killing humans.
Rock throwing was troublesome, but not unbeatable.
The flying attack girl Sanjo looks awesome.
Good episode.

Also I don't know why but I have the for some reason I have the supcision that we haven't seen the last of Eva yet.

Adolf is one of the best characters in the series. He is just so awesome. It is sad to see him go like that. Eva, on the other hand, was useless all the way until the end. Division 5 was weak in general, but Eva did nothing. She did not transform or participated in the battle. I don't know how she could survive an explosion like that... an explosion which scared off all the roaches, so I don't think she survived. Then again, I thought Adolf died last episode, so who knows.

The majority of the censors have been removed from the series, but so far, the plot is not really there. The show so far is essentially a bunch of battles and fights, and not much story. Although entertaining, without much of a story, I can't imagine the series will do well. There are only 3 episodes left, so I don't think the story will get anywhere. I actually liked the OVAs, since I felt those had a lot of story in a short amount of time. If this was a 100 episodes series, then I can live with having continuous battles, but it's only 13 episodes. Essentially, everyone is still stuck fighting in the same spot since episode 3.

Adolf so far is the most GAR character in here... He's tough, hard to kill, although his last suicide action should at least kill that roaches' leader! How could they run away like that! damn!

I'm expecting a lot from others' German team. I think the only that survive might be Eva... Maybe her power is something that make her immune with bomb

In the other hand, looks like Team 1 is having a better fight with roaches. Sanjo Kanako looks cute and awesome when she flew. That boxer dude is quite confidence himself

Although, I thought the roaches took off because of the sound, looks like they just sensed that something was about to go boom. I wonder what eva's purpose was in all of these.

Seriously though, It's 600 years in the future but they still have problems with famine in small villages, multimillionares being affected by economic downturns and being forced to sell their children AND unfaithful wives being cut off by their husband's bosses? That's a really bleak future, considering that they still haven't solved these problems!

Meh, you could say that about the majority of the characters in this show.

One of the two most developed characters (Adolf) is killed offed already, and the others characters that gets introduced for like 10 secs either die immediately or is not shown again until their death scene is in order. Makes it hard to care about most of them dying off to be honest.

I mean...just look at Adolf's division.

I'm used to the fact that most characters that have more screentime than the others are crucial to the plot. For example, shiela's death was a kind of trigger for marcos and the other guy who was with her before they went to mars, and also set up that scene with the commander. The ane-san character that got her head chopped off also served to show how some of the roaches got the abilities of the first bugs mission members.

But Eva was extraordinarily useless for somebody who got that much screentime, unless, of course, they were aiming for some kind of joke when they put adolf and eva together, and they died together too, just like what happened before in 1945

I think that was his boss though. She pretty much told her subordinate what she thinks about Adolf's wife.
Adolf probably actually forgave her.

So I assume his boss had her shadowed, and found out that Rosa was still cheating - you can guess that form the short scene where she puts her wedding ring on a table, and leaves the houses all dolled up - on Adolf and took the appropriate measures.

I actually wondered if that was suppose to be some kind of joke as well. At least this Adolf was actually worth something.

Anyway next episode, Keiji, Keiji, Keiji.

This series has more heart more than I would have expected. From what little I know of the series Keiji is quite the badass, so we have some good action to look forward to next week.

For anyone that's read the manga: Was that scene with the government cutting off Adolf's wife in the manga as well or did they add that in?
