When did we see teenage Rosa?? Did I miss something??

I don't actually envy them... I mean that's gotta give them back problems...

The subs don't really matter, since the character narrating is always talking about something silly

Yup, in those previews all characters are talking about nonesense... I mean Kanon telling us that they were Mechas and that Shannon had Breast Cannons or something...

I like the silliness. Sadly, whoever was translating them seems to have stopped.

Curious, does anyone know how Umineko is doing on the bluray charts for Amazon?

Then again, I read that that's the collector's edition, which would explain why it made so little.

I don't know, but it did coincide with a K-ON! and a Hetalia release .

Ouch, those BD rankings are definitely pretty bad. DVD is around average but without a lot of BD sales to back them up...the series really isn't doing that well, no other way to put it.

Not really surprising given its niche status (and how Higurashi wasn't exactly a DVD sales boom either), but still...ouch.

Maybe they should've put an extra episode on each DVD, they might've had at least me with that >: P.

Anybody have any form of the release and would be willing to post pictures?

This is why people dreaming of this getting 2 cours for 2 vns/arcs were in lala land. You really think Frontier Works would pay for 4 seasons (104 episodes) of this when it sells like this?

There was people who wanted VN 1-2 to be double cour, the later vns are far longer than 1 and 2.

The chart is for everything, but when fans buy anime, most spring for premium releases, so regular edition might not rank.

Plenty of titles sell fine in spite of this. Higurashi was released at the height of the DVD market, so fans at the time may have been more willing to buy even if they weren't completely happy with quality (and once they collected the first season, they'd collect the sequel for completion, and so forth).

However, they're now more picky about what they buy. A big name like Umineko doesn't guarantee instant purchase.
