It has been circulating on the net since 2002 and is just for shits and giggles. However, some teacher in Alabama is now in deep shit for distributing it to her class. And she was going to retire this month. What dafuq was she thinking?

Oh I'm sure the L.A. math test was just made up for humor. To be put on the internet for humor. But apparently some teacher decided to issue it to a class, all in the month she will retire...ballsy, because she might get fired even though her time with the job is almost up.
