Given the timeslot the show is airing in, I think it's probably best to wait till ep 13 when the opening changes to know for sure how long it will be. For all we know it could be 39 episodes, so let's lay off the guesstimation.

Yes, I'm sure too. I'm just curious if there's actually a solid source on that. I guess there isn't.

For what it's worth, the director said that Star Driver is divided into "four parts" in terms of the overall storyline, and each part in terms of story arc, will be about one of the shrine maidens. Which is why there are four of them. The first part is clearly going to be focused on Sakana-chan.

This does not automatically mean that the show is made up of four cours, but it's a possibility.

Hmmmm, I tried to track down where the 25 episode rumor came from, and apparently Japanese fans who attended the special screening of ep1 last week said that during the discussion panel with the director, he mentioned that the series is 25 episodes long.

I am not but I am just wondering why there was nudity in that part when this supposed to be a mecha show. Just goes towards wondering if this is going to be ecchi/mecha kind of like LineBarell

I doubt it'll be an eechi series. Just feature a bit of the female fanservice from time to time, like past mecha shows have done.
