probably some guy that had a "sad" past and now wants revenge on humanity... and the "bear" is nothing more than a remote controlled robot. I didn't see any supernatural elements yet in this series. The only thing that I am sceptical about is the probable "loss of memories".

you know how stages have the back stage, the access to the roof and all the other rooms like the changing/costume/props rooms? it looks like that room kirigiri found is like that, it also looks like that's how monobear cleans up all those corpses but to set that aside, most likely it was the 16th student who attacked naegi. it looks male, and looks like he's the one pulling the strings, or at least in cahoots with monobear.

That seems to be the case, but the real question is why has this mystery student decided to appear right at an awkward, but convenient time. It's most likely that this 16th student is more of an accomplice rather than the one pulling the strings. Think about it: How can the Puppetmaster move and monitor the rest of the academy at the same time? It's all about POE, and what's in the best interest for the Puppetmaster to keep things in control without saving face.

The theory that 16th student is infact Monokuma himself, is quite interesting... maybe the 16, including Monokuma, were classmates, but Monokuma somehow felt "left out" or something and then wanted to get revenge on everyone else.

Something I forgot to mention, although this case was pretty obvious, I liked that this one was the first murder that was actually planned. Celes had a good motive, had her dream, wanted out and knew she could manipulated Yamada to help her and possibly blame him for it. This wasnt done out of self defense or suddenly as a result of rage for a weakness, this was planned. I liked that.

I am disappointed about how Celes was so naive to trust Monokuma's words, that she will be released from the school if she commits murder without being caught... I can see it already: "Hey, you won, so now you will gradute FROM LIFE, feel the despair!"

I'm wondering about that too. It could be a warning of some kind or a possible red herring planted by the Puppetmaster. Either way, it's still really weird why someone would leave behind a "Don't leave this place" message when being locked up in a school against your will or have people kill in order to leave, while both the innocent and guilty party are at the risk of death, isn't necessarily the better option or the lesser of the two evils.

Perhaps it was from the previous group like in battle royals and someone in it tries to convince the people to stop the infighting with no avail?
However one thing that still worries me is who will be the culprit next? Togami doesn't seem like the type to dirty his own hands, Genocider is too obvious and will protect him no matter what so they are both safe. Same goes to Sakura and Aoi. I highly doubt either Naegi or Kirigiri will kill either. Shaman can't do a thing anyway since he's too much of a wimp. Then again, I didn't expect Yamada to kill either, so someone in there will definitely betray my expectation, most likely back to the spur of the moment again?

oh damn!
Celes' perfect crime already ruined since beginning.... first, she is the only one who didn't died after encountering Justice Robo (according to her alibi) and lastly is not a strong evidence... but she is quite silent during previous class trials... somehow she become very talkative (well, we can consider it because she's the victim this time) oh dear Celes... why should you die??? why should you did the crime?? You should at least survive with Byakuya - Naegi - Kirigiri as detective quartet in this anime poor Celes.... there you go, my favorite character.... now I should root for Kirigiri then at least you didn't get painful or weird death... |

But out of the characters left, only Genocider has that "murderer" feel to her, and one would think she's too obvious, as you wrote. Still, some thought that Celes' Ooc behavior in Episode 6 made her too obvious to be the culprit, but she did in fact end up being the culprit. Perhaps there'll be a "game-changer" soon that'll break the anime out of its "Kill Episode, Trial Episode, Kill Episode, Trial Episode, etc..." pattern that it's had for awhile now.

And yeah Celes is probably one of the more popular characters.

That would be utterly delightful, but it probably won't happen. Danganronpa was sold as a murder-mystery game, and game-buyers would probably have felt pretty ripped off if there had been only three murder cases before the game switched to something else.
