The twins look about 12. But that hasn't stopped anyone before Still, Guin I watch for the macho overload. If there is some loving going around it has to contend with a berserk leopard man brutally beating his opponent into a pulp. Right now, animalistic brutality wins out. |

No. Like I said, many of these characters gets married and some have children.
Men on men don't reproduce kids. Yaoi stuff doesn't have too big of an effect in the main storyline until waaay later. Most of the couples were straight.... until suddenly she started turning the whole thing yaoi. No, it's the otherway around. Guin Saga predates Tekken by 2 decades.

Guin Saga continues to progress at its pace. The party (Guin, Remus, Linda, Suni and Ishtvan) sails the Kes river. Filled with an unpleasant fauna. Not to mention that a new character, the General Amnelys, decides to track them. This is pretty much the substance of this fourth episode. Linda seems to have seen something about the future of Ishtvan.
While showing technical flaws, Guin Saga continues to tap in its strenght in the storytelling. This is as griping as the former episodes, I couldn't ask more for a old fashioned fantasy series. |

I thank you also. The worry over yaoi was impeding my enjoyment of this title.

Episode 3 rocked! I remember it a little differently in the books but that's ok with me because the anime has done a great job of presenting their own version of the story. They've done a great job at portraying Guin, especially one particular character trait, his regal nature. I never got far enough in the series to find out Guin's origins but if I had to guess it would be that he was a King of some country or empire that had some curse placed on him, maybe by a woman named Aurra who knows. But ya speculation aside, I'm really glad they were able to portray that sort of aura of a King that surrounds Guin and just immediately makes people like Orro be willing to die for him because (he didn't deserve do die in a place like 'this') he just naturally felt that a person of Guin's stature deserved to die in some grand fashion.
