It's probably because of their character - Nagisa is shy and Karma is a loner, neither really had any reason to add depth to their relationship.

I think it's what she actually feels. Regardless of her acting skills, she's still just a teenage girl.

Im pretty sure those are her honest feelings. She has no reason to put up an act anymore and that scene combined with the hospital one (both of which were her private thoughts) make them seem genuine. She may be a skilled actor but she is also a young teenage girl.

As for Karma and Nagisa it could be that they associate with each other but never really got to know one another. They never bothered getting to know the person they were spending time with.

after all she did have that killer aura of hers... and only a few of them have displayed such... most common is Nagisa... or that facet of hers is her hidden character that was polishhed after coming to class E...

Welp, didn't expect Hayami and Chiba to be on the same side. It's a real shame we won't get a sniper battle. The blue team seemed underpowered at first, but it looks like it has some potential after all. Damn, Kanzaki is deadly.

-Nagisa then single-handed beats everyone except for Karma
-They have their one on one and through this they understand each other better
-Karma narrowly wins
-They start calling each other without -kuns attached

The fights between 2 factions were actually good, but it seems that Red has upper hand since they took down most of the Blue teams. I guess it is up to Nagisa to solo the Red team in upcoming chapters.

Kayano jobbed so hard.

Amen. If she's going to pull something like that, I expected a mutual kill at the very least. Don't hype someone up and then knock them down before they can accomplish something.

Kayano is very good at acting and loses effectiveness the more others know about her. Her own classmates obviously are very resistent against her acting, since they saw her true self to some extent already.

Nagisa however is not restricted by that. He is constantly progressing and seems to always have a trump card when necessary (he took Lovro's words to heart and seems to polish his ability to turn "battles" into "assassinations"). I bet Nagisa's surprise attack against Karma before the fight was not the last surprise Nagisa got in store for us. Can't wait to see how it unfolds.

I can see Nagisa massacring nearly everyone, including Karma, Rio, Terasaka, Itona, Sugino, and Tsundere sniper, but still managing to "lose" the match by having their flag snatched.

Sugino and Isogai are on same team as nagisa and Sugino already defeated by Hazama before Isogai defeat her.

Nakamura will be defeated anyway either by Nagisa or Isogai, meanwhile we haven't see how Okuda's chemistry will go on this battle.

Isogai's purpose to put Nagisa to act on his own is a wise and good decision since he knew Nagisa's true potential if he's not on assault or combat team. Sometimes having a stealth team can be troublesome.

Isogai's stealth team and surprise attack which they act on their own accord:

Yukiko Kanzaki (Defeated)
Shiota Nagisa

The Red team has the upper hand which makes sense their members are better suited for this challenge. I would liked to see more members of the blue show off their hidden skills but the remaining members aren't doing too bad.

Can't wait to see what surprises Nagisa has in store.

There's still the option of Nagisa trying to get a win by snatching the flag, which could be a fitting victory for the ''save'' team, a victory not based on battle or assassination.
