I somewhat like what he did 10/20 years ago... But gawd, he's too old now, he needs to retire
On topic, I don't listen to music that much so the first thing that'd come to my mind would be Matmatah since, well, I was born and raised in Brest Here's a classic, Lambé an Dro : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DBVanW04l74 And L'Apologie at the Vieilles Charrues : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3BQZZ...eature=related *waves Bretagne's flag with all his might* |

Someone already mentioned France Gall, but I like her '60s stuff MUCH better than her '70s or '80s music:
Laisse tomber les filles http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rMhO0Kfl5Ck Les sucettes http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kFQpKKxbx6E (This one's about a girl who loves sucking on lollipops, especially big ones. Young France Gall didn't get the double entendre, and horrified when she learned what the song was REALLY about.) Jazz à gogo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pDqkAkWLlbw |

Oh... I don't really like French music . Well, there is the one who did Gankutsuou OST! Not bad. There is Daft Punk too (duo with Kanye West ^^)...
Haha Goldman Tournent les violons : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SuzgMmvMmIA Alizée seems to be famous in other countries (or not )... Here, it's finish but she's pretty . Well, I'm not a fan of French music

I really love french music. However most of the songs I've heard are Celine Dion's
and some of Dalida and Francois Feldman I also like Romeo and Juliette's song, such as Les rois du monde ou Aimer This is also one of my favorite french song. Too bad it isn't as popular as the english version : Since I'm not french (I only study it), my knowledge about french music is nothing compared to you guys
