I feel bad for you guys, have to watch these terrible fillers. I dropped Naruto anime from the 3 tailed beast filler arc.
Anyways, I found a website that count how many fillers from Bleach anime. And HALF of Bleach anime are fillers.

So what do you think how many fillers Naruto will have ?

im not sure about naruto, either way, the bleach fillers had at least been good, the long-running filler seasons had been more or less interesting, in naruto the fillers are in 99% of the cases simply bad and even quality-wise they are cr*p :/

Bleach filler was definitely much better than Naruto's. I'll never understand why Naruto's fillers were and are so bad. They have great source material. They just write horrible stories.

Tsunde and her book of stories.
Still milking that old cow..
This time Sasuke & puppets.
Some Naruto & his dad too + Jiraiya lesson.
All in all, if you skip it, you won't miss a thing..

Man they are really drawing this series out. And not to its benefit. The Naruto anime is starting to turn into the Bleach manga.

at least in bleach the plot moves foward, no matter how slow and annoying it is,
in the naruto anime the plot is in a complete stop for...half a year?

I guess the only message they will get is if all the fans stop watching on the networks. No ratings sends the message to move on with the story. Is there someone we can write to? I would imagine if there was a massive drop off in viewership over the course of a month, they would get the idea. What little I understand of Japanese culture, they are not known as complainers, so I am not sure such a temporary boycott of viewing would actually happen.

I really hope ratings drop and Studio Pierrot starts to actually realize what the issue with the anime is.

But since it continued this long... I guess Japanese fans are still watching?

It's because the anime is still popular and bringing the money in that they are dragging it out. If it wasn't they would have ended it ASAP.

Well I put that as one of the reasons for cancelling my anime membership, but honestly I don't see how they're going to sell the distribution rights for all these fillers and still keep the audience through at times nearly half a year's worth of fillees

I sometimes think Studio Pierrot feels invincible. They got away with airing almost a hundred straight episodes of back-to-back curry of crap caliber filler before finally moving onto part 2. And now 6 years later, they know they can get away with it again. And I'm assuming they're right.

So episode 440 (660 overall) is another filler and so is next weeks with only 4 weeks left of 2015.

update

episode 442 is also filler and it looks like the filler will continue into 2016.

Of the 48 Naruto episodes so far this year only 11 include material from the manga and of those 11 episodes only 5 are filler free.

Well filler again and so is next week followed by a 2 week break and then 2 more filler episodes according to leaked episode titles.

Maybe the plan is to get Shippuden to 700 episodes so quite a lot of filler needed.

And i was assuming half a year ago that they would do the big finale in the xmas season. With this infinite filler series i even ( and i guess most of us ) forgot about Naruto and moved on the interesting new series such as One Punch Man. The only reason i remembered this series right now is because i noticed this forum page among my browser favorites

Well it's sad that the series didn't get a decent big finale before fans lost interest and moved on. One could argue that people lost interest but this forum seems to be almost dead now despite the series has not ended.

I only keep remembering about this series because I keep checking each week if I still keep skipping it or if it has finally returned to the canon plot.

Other than that, I have a whole lot of better stuff to keep me busy.

Sad thing is, none of this is canon really. It's nothing more than a dream inside Tsunade's head. So its not like we are learning anything new about the characters or their background.
