After punching Fiamma's lights out, Touma tries to stop the descent of the archangel. His right hand is crushed in the process. Mikoto tries desperately to save him, but he "dies" in front of her. And she's left holding on to his Gekota strap.

I think the point of the spoiler was that from Mikoto's point of view, Touma "died" (like what happened with Itsuwa in vol 16). Anyway, something I want expounded on is Aurrelus' appearance in that one picture with Fiamma, and whatever happened to Kazakiri, Acqua and the guys over at Necessarius' cathedral.

So it seems that

Touma died for the "second time," this time without any traces of his body (so it's a vague notion of whether he really died or not), but has his right hand crushed by the Archangel (Goodbye Imagine Breaker ;_; or maybe not?).

Also looks like Mikoto offered Touma assistance before the events transpired somehow but Touma refused to accept it... even with the assistance Touma's Imagine Breaker will only get in the way of making Mikoto's powers become useful.

... Can't really understand the rest of it... so this is a rough summarization of what I *can* read from Suzuku's spoiler post up there (with the help of Rikaichan of course).
