When I first saw the preview
I was a little uneasy about it but after I watched a few episodes I began to like it more and more, the trick you need to remember is very simple these are not
The Powerpuff Girls But the PowerPuff Girls Z

How ever now I do disagree with Chemical z being more powerful the Chemical x!

If the Powerpuff z were to go against The originals in a sheer battle of power, they would have there asses handed to them on so many levels
it would be beyond imagination, at least at there present level of development.


Hmmm Then again if superman himself was to go against the originals
It would probably go something like this:

Chemical z is stronger then chemical x...but it doesnt really matter

The PPG were MADE of chemical x
The PPZ were only zapped by chemical z

so even though chemical z is stronger, the PPG are still stronger because thier completly made of the stuff, while the ppgz only have a little bit of that z power.

Thats how I see it anyways XD

mojo(z) seems more powerfull then mojo(x)....and they were both just normal monkeys to start with who were affected by the respective chemicals

mojo(z) made a fireball with his hands and can fly around...mojo(x) can not

this kinda prooves my theory..I think

Just finished watching episode 4, I think I can understand Mojo's feeling. He's quite a lonely monkey so he wants the family or longs for the commnity.That's may be a reason why he did it. I'm siding with Mojo sometimes when I watch that episode.
By the way which powerpuff girl Z do u guys like most ?

buttercup <3 She's good in the battle(just saw her using Hurricane lutz and Swing sonic 2 as continuos attack) but Momoko is far more intelligent than her.

Momoko can make use of any supported material as her weapon sometimes like , repulsive force attack she used.So Momoko iz the best :3

Well, it's not going to win any animation awards, but the fight against Princess and her giant robot was very nicely choreographed, and showed just how much the girls have improved when it comes to fighting as a team.

The three of them sneaking into Himeko's mansion afterwards and slinging her onto her bed was good for a laugh, too.

Yeah it's nice to finally some enemies besides Mojo himself. I was already getting tired of him. In any case this is a series I don't really watch raw, so I'll as per usual wait for a sub.

I think it's a veiled intentional attempt to turn the tide on young girls wanting to perform plastic surgery in Asia. I am certainly not disapprove of that.

PPGZ is a joint venture of Toei Animation (the ones who brought us a whole slew of anime titles including Sailor Moon and Transformers), Aniplex (Jigoku Shoujo, Kage Kara Mamoru, Honey and Clover, Full Metal Alchemist), and the Cartoon Network.

Well it's been a long time coming, but what I've been waiting for is about to hit the series

Based on the preview of PPGZ ep 20, the Rowdyruff Boys are finally making an appearance. How will the girlz handle them? By the way, the boyz remind me of ripoffs from Naruto, and they also have a nasty habit of pointing at their noses.

Brick and Boomer seem quite typical, while I get the feeling Butch, given his pretty hairstyle and diamond-shaped eyes, will be quite bishounen and possibly girly (an antithesis to the tomboyish Buttercup/Kaoru).

and boy, are the Rowdyruffs are real bunch of misfits. Unlike the original Rowdyruffs, these boys seem to have a shared mind and work like a team, rather than show signs of infighting. (If I recall, the original Boomer was a shy type and always teased by the other two; here Buma is just as swave and confident as Briku. And the original Butch was a war-freak; Butch here is more bishounen and is almost a smooth talker. Briku is apparently unchanged, though doesn't seem to show signs of him being the team leader, other than being the first to speak.) Also, instead of being outright violent and causing destruction, these boys simply cause mischief and merely want to piss people off.

It all begins when Mojo breaks into Professor Utonium's lab with the intention to steal the Chemical Z. And surprisingly no one gets disturbed enough (even though peach is awakened, he dismisses it and goes back to sleep) even when Mojo used explosives to blow up the vault where the Chemical Z is stored. After getting the Chemical Z canister, he also takes a few items with him:
Momoko's "Lovely Straw" (one of those fancy drinking straws, but this one has a section that loops around in the shape of a heart)
Miyako's Q-tips (or whatever that is used to remove earwax)
Kaoru's sock (which stinks by the way)
His rationale is that he gets the girls' DNA with those items (but little does he know what significance they'll also contribute).

Only next morning do Professor Utonium, Ken, and Peach find out (and the girls give them a grilling about it, especially their lost items).

Back at his own home, he puts the ingredients together, and the Rowdyruff Boys appear - Briku (Brick), Buma (Boomer), and Butch (somehow he kept his western name intact). Immediately the boys display their antics as a bunch of misfits with no respect for anyone but themselves - even Mojo couldn't control them (at one point they say they're hungry, and douse Mojo with various condiments and threaten to eat him, scaring the hell out of him and making him run off). And once everyone goes outside, that's when the real trouble begins.

First the boys hop into the back of a passing dump truck, and start throwing garbage around much to the annoyance of bystanders. When Mojo shows up, the boys call him "Mama", and the angry bystanders attack him blaming him for the boys' mischief. Later the boys enter a restaurant and plant all kinds of gross stuff on the patrons' food. Again when Mojo shows up, the boys call him "Mama" and the angry customers attack him. Finally, a group of pedestriance notice it suddenly raining, but it turns out to be the boys urinating from the roof of a building (yuck!). And once again, when Mojo shows up the boys call him "Mama" and the angry pedestrians attack him. At this point the boys emanate the familiar black aura that alerts Peach, sending the girls into action.

Meantime Mojo is really beat walking with a walking stick. Suddenly the boys round a corner and run over him, with an angry mob in pursuit (which also runs over him). The Girls arrive surprised to see Mojo beaten up, but are even more surprised to see what seem to be male versions of themselves rushing over to glomp Mojo. After some useless bickering between the girls and Mojo, Mojo walks off sulking, then the girls try talking to the boys. The boys assume this strange pose with their fingers up their noses, which irritates Bubbles (being the "refined" fashion-conscious girl she is). In response they launch their first attack on the girls - by blowing booger at them (eeech!). Blossom gets really pissed and starts berating them, until she realizes her "unladylike" behavior and stops, with Bubbles and Buttercup restraining her. The boys try to simply walk off, until Blossom taps Briku on the shoulder, sending him into a panic trying to dust himself of frantically with the other two boys doing the same (apparently this is a reflection of their allergy to Cooties in the old series). The girls stare in disbelief, then apparently Blossom gets upset of the boys' reaction to her touch. The boys then lauch their second phase of attack:

Briku takes out Blossom's "Lovely Straw" and fires what seems to be a drop of saliva at Blossom.
Buma takes out Bubbles' "Q-tips", sticks them into his ears, then flings ear wax at Bubbles.
Butch takes out Buttercup's sock and throws it at Buttercup like a boomerang; it circles around her causing the air around her to stink.
At this point the boys have a good laugh at the girls' expense, pissing the girls off even more. Now the boys go into their "ecchi" phase of attack, where they flip up their counterparts' skirts embarrasing the girls, then they run off laughing, causing Buttercup to lose her temper and go after them, with Blossom and Bubbles in pursuit. After they round a corner, the girls find the boys' back to them, before the boys drop their pants and show their a$$'s, making the girls sick, before pulling their pants up and running off laughing again. The blushing girls are really pissed at this point.

Mojo ends up on an island in the middle of a lake brooding, before the boys come back to him seemingly to cheer him up. The girls also arrive, then Mojo calls up an enhanced version of his Mojo-Robo (the one with the centipede-like body as seen in the teaser), and starts trashing the city, to the boys' delight. It's so powerfull even the girls attacks are brushed off. Then when the girls start taking the upper hand, the boys seem to end up cheering on the girls instead, much to Mojo's displeasure. Finally the girls defeat Mojo by tearing his robot apart piece by piece then sending him off back home with Buttercup's Graviton Drive.

At this point the boys try to run off, but Blossom lectures them on something (perhaps on being good boys?). Only the boys say something that shocks the girls, before taunting them and running off laughing again. This time the girls are really really pissed (even the very nice Bubbles shows that frightengly angry look with eyes blazing).

The show ends with the boys running back to Mojo calling him "Mama" again, and Mojo thinks they've come back to him as his loyal subjects, but they run over him yet again, and apparently they make it clear he's not their boss before running off again to do who knows what, and Mojo cries.

Boy that was amusing and irritating at the same time. I don't think I've felt really pissed at any anime character as much as I did with the Rowdyruff Boys of this series (though they were still entertaining in their own right).
