cant resist giving this a try since Yuuko looks a lot like Yomi, i think it was a nice idea to replay the scene with Yuuko in it but that trick cant be used too often

the ED song (or OP?) is good too, a solid eps 1

hehe Yomi from Ga-rei? i said the same thing when maigo started to scan this back on chapter 4 thats when they picked it up

I doubt they'll do that again. It's the sort of trick you can pull off once, in the beginning, but not again afterwards. We may sometimes get views of a scene from the perspective of someone who can't see Yuuko, but it'll almost certainly be in realtime, rather than a replay.

Okay - I finished up the first 5 volumes of the manga last night, and consider me committed to checking out the series. I really enjoyed the storyline I read....

Most likely its the OP song since it sounds like one. Anime nowadays seem to play the OP as the ED song for the first episode.

The website announced something about a campaign to promote the first DVD / BD of the series on April 16 (not the release date of the DVD, I think?).... Also, I think that said date is also the volume 7 release date? Or at least close? Anyway, those who attend are going to get rewarded (and read, rewarded) with a poster of this image.

Oh the irony of this statement. I guess you haven't read the manga then? Because it's pretty prophetic, given what happens and was revealed in the last few chapters.

Completely new to the series, though given the early foreboding and the fact she is a corpse buried in a room it should be enough to tell she's no Casper. Well it's nice to know that illustration may not just be some derping on the artist's part.

Yuuko is a good person! There may be things about her that cannot be talked about without spoilers, but the girl we saw in episode 1 is in no way malevolent.

Kakkou: Suffice to say that Yuuko's situation is complex, to say the least. I will grant you this: as Random Wanderer mentions, the Yuuko we see is very real, but like any good character it's not the ONLY side to her.

And yes, it would be spoilers to say more.

Just finished watching the first episode. I like how they show the difference in scenario when Yuuko is visible to the viewers and when she is not. Freaking hilarious. I didn't understand what was going on at first (I am not a manga reader) so I was rather confused. I guess the hero's reputed intelligence and sixth sense are actually "borrowed" from Yuuko. Yuuko's backstory really intrigues me. I wonder if she has any unresolved regrets, or maybe her soul would not move on until she knows how she dies.
