Do MG kits needs painting? And what tools do I have to have that's not used in HG?

MG kits don't need to be painted, since most of the major details are already molded in the appropriate colors. However, as with any Gundam model, painting will add make it more realistic and there may be some small details that need to be painted to be 100% accurate. On the most part, MG kits look good as a straight build.

You don't need any other tools than what is used for HG kits, although you may need a screwdriver (i think the small ones you use to fix your glasses or something) for the occasional screw.

Usually no. As for what tools, you pretty much use what you already have.

Maybe more patience and efforts though.

Its like the Sword Bits handles and the Quanta's GN Shield's beam gun. Mentioned in profile but not in the actual kit. He's reading from the profile.

The profile also mentions XN Raiser, unsurprisingly. We have known they were related for awhile now, but hoping for more specifics here. But need a clearer scan I guess.

Not exactly sure myself either. Harute has a few containers though so its likely one of them.

Guys, using Mr hobby colors, what would be a good blue mix recipe to use in order to match the one of HG 00 Quanta and the other Exia lineages?

Cos I want to use them to cover the leftovers of my spures. I cut them away, but the leftover color is obviously not blue.

Normal blue of Mrhobby is too dark though and it stands out. Anybody got any good combo suggestions? How about 70% blue and 30% white then?

SEX BABY. solidvanz, you are awesome. Mind me asking: Which hip joint does Harute use? The one with a polycap ball and plastic socket (i.e. Arios/Susanowo/Innovator suits) or the one with the plastic ball and polycap socket (i.e. Seravee/Reborns)? Thanks!

Oh, shit. I didn't see the NK link there.

Anyway, Harute's using the most hated Innovator hip joint of mine. Damn. Guess I'll have to live with it.

Plus: clear visor! Yay!

Ok, I See where the scissor bits are supposed to be now. Looks like Hartue has GN Machine guns in the wrists like Arios.

The scissor bits are located in the orange containers on Harutes cannons.

All kits should be painted, though they don't *need* to.
