Watch I.G get blamed by WHITE FOX fanboys if this isn't as good regardless lol.
The character designer + chief animation director was one of two chief animation directors for The iDOLM@STER. Kill me Baby would've been crap no matter who directed it, if the source is good than the director has a chance to put out something good (or on the flip side, ruin it). When Baccano! came out in 2007 I was part of a discussion on another forum where we were worried about the cast and studio working on it (bunch of scrubs!). Fast forward 5 years and people generally like Brains Base and Takahiro Omori is considered a good director thanks to his work on Baccano!, Durarara!! and the 4 Natsume series. Funny how that works. |

I've kinda fallen off the White Fox train myself after Jormungand. They might be able to direct well and put up good sound tracks, but their visual quality holds them back. If IG visuals are here with the same White Fox staff, that sounds pretty great.

If they're keeping the same staff and having IG in charge of the animation, it should be pretty good. What could go wrong? |

Erm, you guys are mistaken. The article is talking about how Robotics; Notes (the game for PS3 and Xbox360) will be coming out before the TV series airs, and the game is from the same staff who created Steins;Gate (the game).
There have been no announcements at all about the staff producing the anime or making it so far. If you don't actually understand the language you are posting about, please don't add to the confusion. Thanks. |

Well, there's still a chance that'll be good. What could go wrong? |

Also, regarding Production IG working on the anime, I don't think that has officially confirmed either. The Famitsu web article covering the noitaminA conference did mention that, but none of the producers actually mentioned it, so they could just be mistaken, since every mention of Production IG so far states that they're the ones working on the animation clips used in the game. That could be a good sign that they are indeed working on the anime adaptation anyway, but as far as I know it hasn't been officially announced.

Oh, thanks for that confirmation. I definitely missed that.
Edit: Robotics;Notes (the game) will be released on June 28th, which is the same day when this season's noitaminA shows will both end. That's probably when they will reveal the staff for the Fall season imo. |

Ok, since the first early release is the VN and not the anime I think there's nothing wrong in discussing it here. I think it's also the perfect place since it is already confirmed that there will be an anime. So there seems to be no worries.
Am I the only person here who has her head held up high on this Nitroplus x Production IG tandem? o.O If just to play safe, I hope some people who helped out in S;G can at least pitch in to help or something. Well, that's my two cents on the matter ^^ |

Not sure if both of these trailers are new but ANN put up two, 15 second spots (for the game not the anime I believe). What interests me though is the writing underneath the title at the end of the second trailer
Spoiler for just in case?:

The tagline for the game is making me think a little, if we're comparing it to steins;gate then it's kinda like this.
R;N's tag line is basically saying "Science is everywhere, but I can control the outcome. I'm the one who can control events." unlike with Steins;Gate's tagline being The universe has a beginning, but no end. — Infinity. Stars, too, have their own beginnings, but their own power results in their destruction. — Finite. It is those who possess wisdom who are the greatest fools. History has shown us this. You could say that this is the final warning from God to those who resist. Which was pretty much "The future might be able to change, but it's hard to change fate in less you take action. God or another force is stopping those who wish to change fate." If you think about it that way, Okabe broke free of control and was able to form his own fate. Which is transferring over with the idea of no higher power is in control now.
