Of course it makes it go away but you can still get the lovely symptoms before everyone figures out about Tsugumi's blood and gets the Cure virus. So still a period of misery. Bleh.

Mostly because it wouldnt be that bad, I mean really it's not like you're telling me that I'm going to be run through with a sword or lose massive amounts of blood via getting the crap beaten outta me, I'll just be deathly sick for a day or two, nothing compared to never dying (or until the world explodes which would be worth it already) you're just weak :P gotta weight the advantages against the disadvantages, immortality plus other perks like meeting Takeshi and Tsugumi vs. Lemu incident and TB for a little while

Anyways... I just got to read the manga and it's stuck at 2 chapters. shuckers.
And Ever17 should get its own anime... alongside G-Senjou No Mao, these are the 2 Visual Novels that I'm most surprised didn't get any adaptation, even though they are FCKING EPIC.

everyone will know that kaburaki isn't takeshi... and hokuto isn't the kid kaburaki... the manga is still acceptable (without color, everyone can be made look alike). I'm still wonder how they're going to make kaburaki/hokuto... in the manga. And yeah... according to Ever 17, that means we're in a 4th dimension thingy? since black winkel isn't a 3 dimensional being. Now that I think about it, anime characters always think (IF they can freely think...) that they're in 3rd dimension, so dimension itself is relative? (my mind is getting messed up because of einstein relativity theory) forget the last part of this post actually... it's a non sense

So I was thinking of checking out the original PC version, and a bit of snooping around on the internet showed me that there were a couple of fan made patches since the game's release. Are any of these recommended before I start playing?

I have no freaking clue which one I used because my friend set it up for me on my comp, but I will say you do need to play this thing as its freaking awesome XD (not that it looked like you weren't going to anyway)

The typo fixing patch. It's an absolute must have, as it fixes an accidental spoiler that's revealed too early in the game's translation.

I've been pushing my friend to play this as she loves complicated stuff. But then she has a Mac and doesn't want to do a partition. Maybe in a year or two she'll get to enjoy this...
