LOL You must have missed all my ranting about her arrival for the past week.

It was quite a surprise at her true nature, but I'm pretty sure this is not the last we've seen of her sweet version.

I wonder if this is intentional and if the bullying and emotional abuse Haruyuki's gone through has caused him to become somewhat jaded and suspicious.

if everyone bullies you and your family doesn't help. Specially your parents then, yes. That could be an indication. Since from his childhood days. A broken family and often entrusted to neighbor while his mother work or goes to another man for days. And despite being just a kid he already knew what they are doing. Pretty mature if you ask me >.> understanding or twisted? he doesn't trust anyone easily is a good thing and mostly reminded on kids but basically. Kids still easily trust adults or other people. Growing in an environment where you had only 2 friends since you enter middle school and met KYH and add up the bullying. Yap, you will grew wary of other people.

But at the same time, it is justified. Considering the fact, the Kings might start looking for the Black King in RL like Scarlet Rain. If not the Kings, then their scouts instead.

It's funny when you look at the people who beat Haru in episode 08. The one who snipe him is the same people he beat with Taku. The AW world really investigate his weakness being the sole avatar with Flight Ability.

Well it shows that they are not stupid to let him have the advantage. I guess the Reds will have the advantage at this time.

Side Note: We have seen flying punch and flying kick. Why there is no flying headbutt? That would have been fun.

Yes, you're probably right about that.

I think that Haru is better able than most to accept turns of development that would seem "shocking" to a lot of people in his position. That isn't to say he's constantly suspicious of other people, but rather that if he sees evidence that a friend or somebody seemingly nice is actually up to no good, he can very quickly adapt to that and accept it.

So rather than descending into simple cynicism, he has a healthy degree of open-minded skepticism when it comes to the actions and motivations of others. He's not the sort of person to go "No! My buddy couldn't possibly be doing rotten things like that! I refuse to accept such a preposterous idea!".

True but I can't help to feel that it may also be his weakness as well especially when a situation calls for trust in a friend's contradictory actions. These actions may be a part undercover or false flag operation for the good of the legion. At least, he can calmly accept betrayals.

Kuroyukihime had already raised Haru's paranoia by suggesting that Chiyuri was the enemy. Even though Haru proved that wasn't the case, he knew that someone close to her had hacked her system. And then Taku shows up at the hospital even though he has no connection to Kuroyukihime....
