The third drama episode on the drama CD was original, but is not anime related.

The second half of the second drama episode roughly covers part 1 of this episode (although modified). We've passed the first and the first half of the second drama a long time ago.

Finally more Kirino, so to me it is a 10/10.
I loved it when they impersonated each other XD. They added some original details in their "Date" which are a nice bonus, given the fast paced adaptation.

I like the bits between Kyousuke and Kuroneko. It was their first extensive conversation with each other and it really felt like they were on the same wavelength. Like how Kyousuke thought Kuroneko's story sounded more interesting, and how they had the same basic reaction to Meruru.

wow i just realized something as I re-watched the episode. When Kuroneko and Kirino was arguing about meruru's friendship theme. Kirino said, "You can bring back anyone who dies or anything that breaks in the magical field later" that line could be used as a Shakugan No Shana reference since a fuzetsu works in a similar way.

I don't think so...there are some implications with Shana. But it is a common device to say the least.

Now I think she's one messed up girl.

Not that I think she's really into incest (her repulsion at the idea seems real)- but she was pretty clearly manipulating her brother into taking her out on a date for Christmas Eve. It seems that for some reason she is fixated on her brother and wants attention from him.

And she seems to be taking siscon eroge as the textbook on how to measure a brother's affection for his little sister.

Manami, you better do something about this. At this rate I think you're the only one who can actually help Kirino. (Since she's the only "normal" female peer).

Maybe on the sleepover at Kirino's house you can finagle sleeping in Krino's room? Then go big sister smothering on Kirino? Maybe if she got some more affection from a big sister figure she won't be so... inappropriately obsessed with her brother?

-Kuroneko and Kirino's relationship was nicely portrayed, from the accurate impersonations of each other right down to the things they do for the other

-Hilarious how obsessed with Meruru Kirino is; singing along to the theme song was really cute

-Kirino's brocon starting to show? And it was just a few episodes ago when she didn't want him standing close to her in public . They did look pretty good together....

-You know what would have made the love hotel part perfect? Kirino in a towel instead of a robe... What was Kyousuke getting all flustered about? Not like you could see anything...

well, i burst out laughing several times over the course of this ep. it's done its job well. one thing i was disappointed in was they didn't play off the "kirino is jealous onii-tan is staying at another girl's house" thread they started last time. there was no residual effect from it.

but we're definitely edging towards the wincest line. slowly but surely. the argument kirino and kuroneko was great. reminds me of me and my friend.

but am i the only one who wishes that they'll show the mascara op? it seems to be more up my vein than Meruru...

This episode gets an 8 because of Kuroneko, the 1st half is awesome, in second half they pretty much follows the event in LN with exception that they change the name of the cell-fiction from Mai*Sora [parity for KoiSora, a hugely popular cell-fiction] and it looks they're taking out the entire conflict of volume 3 [and Kuroneko route part 1] and sub-in original stuff via anime.

So it now looks like they'll have 4 episodes [9-12] to cover volume 4 and 5.
