It's the nostalgia, awesome smoke action too.
In reality, musket are heavy as fuck and inaccurate as hell. Oh, and reload is a bitch. 3 shot per minute? That's average Musketeer time. The Assault Musket.... is really powerful, capable of oneshotting Golem 1 (and by that obliterating upper body + core) as well as shot something in orbit. Iori made the joke based on appearance and the fact it fires VERY slowly mostly due to excess heat (it reloads in like most I.S. weapon are)

I like Bolt-action rifle because it is quite accurate, it take skill to use (as in with practice, you can chamber in new round faster than that dude). Admittedly, a semi-automatic rifle is superior in a gunfight than a bolt-action rifle. it was replace by guns which are easier to use(not a bad thing) and shoot faster). Quote:
Demino, IS was not at the rock bottom. Sure it is at the bottom but you know what is at the very bottom (sea-bed level)? That god-awful, no-story, no-personality, walking-fanservice and dull KAMPFER (insert that male female sign here)!! The better term to describe IS is drifting in the middle of nowhere, trying to decide what it wanted to be Harem series? Mecha? Comedy? Serious/Dark? slice-of-life? But failed in all attempt to unite all elements. -_- = Edit: Wouldn't that drain lots of energy?

@ Demi
Just remember: No 00 super sword hax The energy has to come from SOMEWHERE, and big =/= better @ Age Bolt-action is NOT single shot, at least, the modern ones aren't. Unless you talk about very ancient rifle (before 1890) Indeed, it drift somewhere and no real aim... well not like my fic is better.

Meh, he has the core frame and the link-up core. He should last... 30 seconds?
Fine, but the series didn't get any form of solid merchandise than the semi-erotic artworks and figurines and unmentionables. Thank god the OVA showed it was somewhat still alive. Though that was basically an animation in the vein of Ladies Versus Butlers...dear god... |

Mine is basically beam saber that use brute power... to the point that it consume the same amount of energy as barrier void.
You know what? It's miraculous that I think the OVA is much higher quality than tv anime. I thought it'll be fanservice galore but no, it's happen to be the FUNNIEST moment in the I.S. anime adaptation. Genuine harem comedy ahoy. (Especially the lack of pointless violence, but it's a personal taste than anything else.)

I take it you watched the English dub? I absolutely CANNOT take Laura seriously; she sounds WAY too old for her appearance. Charlotte as well since she still sounds like she's trying to act male despite revealing her identity. Rin's VA is my fave

No, no dub yet.
But to be honest, I can't TAKE western dub seriously no matter how good the quality is. I feel some of the best local dub (Indonesian) is better, the similar accent and vocabulary helped a lot... (though due to low budget, many local dub is plain atrocious anyway)

I like the english dub since, as many have stated, while not perfect it does add some spice to the cookie cutter harem interactions. The fact that they made the people do accents shows that they're willing to try and make themselves unique.

The only exposure I ever had to the OVA ws the stupid DVD versus TV comparison type thing. Dear god, those small bits of pseudo porn we shell 5000 yen(estimate) for. Considering it was based off V4, I think I could've at least enjoyed confession Chifuyu.

Damn it. I'm making a REALLY convoluted stable time loop. Character A is killed in the past; Character A then waits many years before resurrecting without memories into Character B; Character B then ends up being dragged into the past......and kills Character A - his past self. Vicious Cycle:/

Which, in fact, create another discrepancy with the novel. Ichika flat out stated that Cecilia's nipple is invisible (as in, covered by spiral force hair), and the scene on the beach is from his POV. Minor but whatever, I'm just nitpicking. Anyway, like I said the OVA at least worth it. Quote:

Essentially, the future incarnation kills the past one because he has no idea who it is he's killing. Due to reincarnation, he has no idea that when he got dragged to the past he ends up killing his past self....therefore he's born again and that version also proceeds to kills his past self. Repeat ad infinitum.

Who says he stays in the past? If he was dragged back, he can be pushed forward. Besides, would it matter if he stayed in the past? His/Her existence is different from the Character B that will eventually be born years down the line/
