More like 2 days and some odd hours. Hooray time zone differences~ XD For me at least (West Coast US), if the news comes out more-or-less right away, it should be late afternoon/early evening on the 19th.

So excited AHHHHHHHHHHHH

I'm either partying or crying when we get the news, let's hope it's the first XD

Gahhh, every time I see a new post here, my heart pauses. I didn't think I'd be getting my hopes up again so quick after Free, but it's up and I'm glad there's not much of a wait left.

In the wake of the recent news of the FMP Blu-ray release in Japan, I had come back to this forum to check if this was the so called "major announcement" that Dragon Magazine had planned, and I'm very glad to know that it is not, with the real announcement is only a short time away. With all of the different models and manga adaptations of FMP announced every other year, I (and just about everyone else) have gotten quite fed up with all of the "fluff" being distributed and continually being disappointed that anything concerning FMP has nothing to do with the anime. I mean, nothing against Gatou-san's "Full Metal Panic Another" series, but I'd be a lot more interested if his original source material was finished in anime form first.

But with this particular announcement (for some odd reason), I am probably the most hopeful I've been in years that an continuation of the anime that I've loved for so long might get realized, all thanks to the new and updates from this forum. I'm now eagerly waiting this announcement and pray that this time it's not another disappointment. Hell, proof of my excitement alone might be the fact that I felt the need to sign back in to the forum and post this, since I noticed that I hadn't signed in since Nov. 2009 before this (Holy crap!

).

Whatever the case, I know that June 19th I will be actively viewing the news on this announcement. It will be either one of the greatest moments for our fandom, or yet another major let down. I, for one, am hoping for the former.

So how many times now have we had an announcement for an announcement? I love FMP, but this is absolutely killing me. Maybe September will finally break the cycle... but I doubt it. At this point I'd even be fine without another anime if they instead declared they were finishing the official translation of the original novels.
