With the character Jesus' increasing involvement with the Until Death Do Us Part series, I predict that he'll gain enough popularity to prompt scanlators to start searching and scanlating the Jesus series.

I'll just start this thread in advance, so people who are familiar with the series can discuss here, while those who have never heard of him can ask around.

For starters, Jesus is a manga about an assassin who faked his death and assumed the life of a high school teacher (the identity of the decoy corpse he used to convince the underground that he's dead).

For now, this is the only known database I know about Jesus.

It seems that there has been a new Jesus series released under my nose, called "Jesus: Sajin Kouro".
Like how Until Death Do Us Part contains Jesus cross-overs, Sajin Kouro will contain cross-overs with UDDUP characters.

Speaking of the Biblical Jesus, the Malay-translated version of Jesus had to be changed to "J" halfway, probably because Christian readers here find it offensive that a cold-blooded assassin was named after Jesus Christ.

I remembered reading this series. It had a lot espionage and violence with some cool character like that rival female teacher.

It's a 'running joke' sort of thing.

If I'm not wrong, the whole bad guy shouting "JESUS!" before getting shot was also in the crossover chapter in UDDUP.

seriously, Jesus is a pretty cool character in the manga. i wouldnt say that he's going to get a spin-off, but maybe a one volume side story. that guy kicks ass, wonder if he was able to find his disciple.

Actually Jesus is a pretty old character that had been recycled revived first making appearance in Shonen Sunday serialized from 1992 to 1995 with 13 volumes.
A sequel is serialized titled "Jesus Sajin Kouro" starting from 2009 ongoing on Mobaman currently with 8 volumes.
The interesting about this series is that there is a cross over on not two but three titles.
The other are as mentioned earlier "Till Death Do us Part" presently serialized on Young GanGan and "ALCBANE"that was serialized on Magazine ZXC from 2007 to 2009 with 3 volumes.

I was a bit dissapointed that the Jesus sequel kind of 'reset-ed' him in a new environment altogether, with only partial mentions to his exploits and acts against '24' in the initial series.
