Does anyone here have information about pre-ordering tickets to the movie?(Location, method, etc?) I have a friend who's going to study abroad soon and he want to know how to pre-order tickets to a cinema in Tokyo.

We already know it won't be a recap/remake. It's been confirmed to be a new story for ages now.

Hmm! So Kyoto Animation's been working on this? I've never been a K-on fan (series is fine in small doses, has some really nice songs, and that Azusa chick is hot so I can't say I'm not completely disinterested.) The main thing that attracts me is that our beloved studio does quite well under a budget like they did for Disappearance. Will I have to watch the second season to understand this movie I wonder?

Though honestly, I must say that the trailers aren't too exciting ATM. It doesn't seem to look that much better than the series proper IIRC. I do hope they will present us with more eye candy, since that is my main interest here.

Not really sure. All we know about the movie is that it'll be original story (a chance that it'll be alternative story exists) set in their high school life. But to be safe, yes. Watch the 2nd season.

The trailers didn't show any scene from the movie, actually what you saw are the scenes from the tv series.

As far as I know, there's no new info regarding the setting of the story for the movie. Don't really know about the roadshow, but it seems that it's some kind of promotion.

No, "roadshow" refers to the distribution method used for the movie. It's got nothing to do with the plot, which is still a complete mystery less than four months from the premiere...
